• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I love the enthusiasm for Tellys of this site, but there is also a ton of negativity towards Kia over our expectations. Kia has done nothing wrong with their MY changeover in my opinion, but it's frustrating not having info, wanting to buy it as a fanatical buyer like myself.
I disagree in part. It is a perfectly legitimate consumer expectation -- not rumor mongering or wild speculation -- that an automobile model year will last about one year. Once that period is exceeded considerably, it's natural for people to become impatient and annoyed at any lack of hard, reliable information from the manufacturer. This is not needless "negativity." It's appropriate consumer behavior. A smart company is a responsive company.

I'm not sure when the very first 2022 MY Tellurides were built (I started a thread on this topic, but no one responded), but my guess is that it was around June of 2021. So we're now dealing with a "model year" of 15-16 months? More? This is made worse by the fact that a mid-cycle refresh normally tends to end the previous model year a little early, not way late.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t dealers start receiving quite a few 22” tellurides before Kia ever updated the builder on their site? I feel like I was watching videos of the MY22 but couldn’t see the specs online for a while. I hope I’m wrong though 😂

I don’t know about past years, but i guess that could happen when little change occurred. I know that shortly after the press release for pricing on the sorento hybrids came out, the builder was available same day.

Just now received an email that said "Start Building your KIA Telluride", but it takes me to the 2022 build page. DIRTY TRICK, KIA!
i just loled! i clicked on that email so FAST! they got me!

I noticed on Saturday that the web page for the Telluride no longer loads.
I only got the 2022 builder to load on Microsoft Edge.

2022 Builder still works fine for me on iOS.

Good idea!! I love being a stalker! Lol! I hope the builder goes live asap so I can see what my car might look like lol! I’ll have to update my order soon and I’m torn between all the different options 🤷‍♀️

Hey kia stop dragging your feet and get on with it already

They have really tortured the entire world for the release of this car. It better be worth it or I'm burning their hq down and billing them for my time spent fishing for details haha

Do you think they know they screwed up and now dragging their feet to keep the 22 as long as possible?

I don’t think they screwed up. Likely just supply chain issues and wanting to make sure everything is available in mass quantities to open up ordering

I'd go easy making statements like that. It could be viewed legally as a terroristic threat.

another day, another disappointment

Another day, another Doug.

As we slowly get closer to an eventual release date, we can confirm the Nav unit will continue to be Gen5. They've started to post a few documents to the owners portal: owners.kia.com/content/owners/en/manuals.html

The full 2023 owners manual (all 537 pages of it) has now been added to the owner's portal. Too bad there aren't any owners just yet.

My dealer told me Kia was conducting the change over but we’re being very slow.He thinks I will get a 2023, but can’t confirm. I ordered my SX trim on Dec. 16, 2021.

The Niro pricing info was released today! I heard ordering was opening for them this month..
As of now, i don’t think dealers have any new info. However, I’m hopeful the telluride info will be released soon! I think they should be next! But have nothing to base that on

I think everyone needs to chill out. Stressing about it won't make it appear any sooner. If it did, I'd tell you to stress away and we'd already have our Tellurides.
