• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I am currently in queue for a 2022 waiting to be picked up from the St. Cloud, MN dealership. A few weeks back I was number 18 in line for SX (green moss exterior, no premium package or nightfall) trim and they get 4-6 orders allocated every three weeks, so hoping to be picked up by July.

I am like most here where I prefer the new interior and would love to keep the moss exterior without the chunky odd grey front end. I think having the 4 way lumbar support, passenger lumbar + the new tech features would be great, but do not know if it trumps the odd looking exterior front chin strap. Oh what to do…

Anyone know if boss moss will be an available color on the 23? I think if so I might delay…

Thoughts from the members!?

This Youtube video shows more clear design of White color or Wolf gray.

That Wolf Gray looks great with the dark gray bumpers. Its wild how such a small change can make a huge difference.

I can't believe I'm actually considering canceling if I get a MY2023. It's interesting how there is not a single change to the exterior that I like. I'm goin to wait until more information on trims other than the X-Pro are released, but I'm not holding my breath that my opinion will radically change. ☹️

Yeah not liking how the 2023 looks so far. Some good interior updates though. I am fine with my 2021. For the 2023 to look more appealing I would change the wheels and paint few exterior pieces. Let’s wait and see if anything really changes once they start arriving at the dealership.

I'm hoping they announced it early enough to listen to feedback and make the slightest tweaks.

There Kia, fixed it for 'ya - what the 2023 should have been:

1. Retain '22 amber DRLs, slight headlight/bulb or housing redesign to distinguish '23 from '22
2. Redesign front and rear bumper but no matt silver finish (or let it be an option)
2. Apply new taillights (they look very good)
3. For the interior, let people chose if they want a full digital display or analog gauges

So if it gets delayed to MY23 would you go palisade?

I might offer up the only necessary changes would have been the tail lights, off-road tires, taller roof rack. Make nightfall = X-line with different leather and do a substantial mark up. Agreed I. Keeping halo lights.

Then just all the new tech and interior and no one would bat an eye… arguably could drive more demand

I'll make it even simpler. Scrap the changes to the bumper (make the X-Line look like NF in the bumper area) and keep all others.

Maybe I'm an outlier, but I hate that they moved the reverse lights to the bumper. Looks/feels cheap to me. Agnostic on the rest of changes (originally didn't like losing the uniqueness of the amber DRLs, but the new style is growing on me) and I do like the new gauge cluster/infotainment screen.

Did you mean apathetic?

Yep. In my defense, I was on painkillers yesterday after knee surgery!

I've said this before but the 20-22 Telluride will be the best version. They'll continue to make it worse until it's no better than the competition. All manufacturers screw up subsequent versions of an iconic vehicle. Taurus, Eclipse, etc... The new styling is hinging on toy like and while the digital dash is futuristic, it's a cheap looking slab of plastic. Digital dashes within an instrument panel are much nicer as this is clearly a cost cutting measure.

Indifferent? I did good on my SATs!

The new one, in videos, looks a lot more like an Explorer from afar. Not the worst thing, but it doesn't stand out as much.

The interior upgrade (dash) is fine, but I stare at screens all day, I don't need another one in front of me....and like someone else said before, it's not like it's infinitely customizable or can project maps (like Audi/VW), etc....it'll have 5-10 functions and I'd get bored with it in a week, leaving on the same setting all the time. Honestly, it's more of initial excitement to get the new shiny thing, but I bet in the long term that digital dash doesn't age great. I was pretty turned off by the Palisade dash/infotaintment screen combo, it looks cheap - hoping the 23 Telluride is better executed than that.

Obviously this thread is really long but I was wondeirng if someone who knows can tell me what new *features the 23 has?
The interior gauge thing is new, and the exterior changes we have discussed at length - is there any new functionality compared to the 22 though?
