Southwest Kia in Dallas...great Sales help from Gage and the dealership was fair on our trade-in. Dealer had added
floor mats, wheel locks, and tint, which I would have added anyway and the prices charged were absolutely fair. There was about $700 in 2 other items that I didn't want to pay for (lojak thing and an interior/exterior surfaces warranty), but I wasn't able to knock those off the table. I really liked the vehicle and didn't want to get a 2022 if a 2023 could be in the cards. There weren't any other markups or market adjustments. Over the last year, I've come to grips with "might have to pay MSRP" in this post-COVID world, so I did. I have a Genesis sedan, so I'm already a fan of Kia/Hyundai/Genesis and the
GV80 just isn't big enough. We really liked the new Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer....but this Telluride gets me close, has about every feature that my Genesis has and probably saved me $30-$40K from buying the Wagoneer. All of the driver safety logic in the adaptive cruise and lane assist is much more advanced than what is in our Genesis, so MSRP in the current economy and new/used automotive world seemed like something to not get too upset about. I hope there are folks that can buy vehicles below MSRP values, but I wanted the car now and sometimes there's a price on that too.
