Picked up late last night after going through the massive amounts of tech-training that my salesperson so graciously stayed until 10pm to finish up!
Now to try to duplicate the training with my bride this morning!!!
The Sage interior is amazing, ya'll!

Seeing some of this momentum is awesome! If I’m interpreting failcat correctly, I’m now 4th/5th in line for the SX trim at our MN012 at cloud dealership! 3 SX in the last few weeks … production does seem to be ramping. I also saw the massive burst of EX x-lines. Must be a big $$$ maker for Kia or something

I was told by multiple dealers in my region that Kia was prioritizing the lower level trims due to lesser chip utilization. S, EX for example. Most dealers unless they are high volume are getting these on allocation. A lot of the SX, SXP’s with packages aka X-Pro, and X-Line are mostly reservations or orders.

Overall nice Telly. I was originally going for Gravity Gray SX, but then changed to the SX X-Line because I wanted as much of the "Nightfall" look as I could get. In the end, I cancelled my order though because the bottom front bumper from what I could tell looking at pictures online is no where near as dark as the builder on Kia's website makes it look, which is disappointing.

I ended up going for a 2022 SXP AWD Ebony Black/Black model instead and then Nightfalled all the badging and left the trim silver.

Got a call from the dealer yesterday… order was picked up!

6-8 weeks until it arrives!!

As per my dealer, order was picked up last week with an ETA of March 19..so like 12 weeks. I mean WTF but at the same time good, if a recession hits I can back off.

I think it's dependent upon the trim line chosen. I suspect the SX-Prestiges are taking longer. What is your configuration?

Ahhhh - that's the exact trim I have on order. Only difference is Everlasting Silver with Ter instead of white. I'm now #1 for that trim at my dealer and should be picked up in the January KFOS window barring any allocation issues. That would likely put me in a mid-April delivery. Oh well.

Ugh that is my exact configuration. I have been waiting since the beginning of March and still don't even have and ETA and I know that there are 3 X-line SP-Ps still ahead of me at my dealership. At this point I feel like throwing in the towel and need to look at other newer vehicles that are coming out b/c I am so frustrated with kia.

Yes - very frustrating. My dealer has really been great - keeping me informed and very transparent. While the wait is frustrating, I have total confidence in the dealer. They said prior to the 2023 model year, they were getting many models on their regular allocations (which delivery is much faster). However with the 2023 model year, they haven't been getting much action on the SXP X-Lines. I would talk to your dealer and find out how many SX-Prestige X-Lines they've earned under the November and December KFOS windows. That will tell you your approximate month your order will get picked up. If they are only getting 1 a month - you won't get picked up until April unless Kia increases that trim. KFOS orders typically take 2-3 months once picked up. If dealers can match your order on their typical allocations, delivery is usually 2-6 weeks. Us SX-Prestige X-Line folks just have to suffer...

There is hope. We just brought home a new SXP-Prestige with Ebony Black and Terracotta interior a few days back.

We worked with multiple dealers and secured one that was coming in on allocation. Our timeline changed from April to Mid December delivery.

Good thing about Kia is the minimal options compared to trim level decisions. If you are still waiting on delivery and have multiple dealers inside your metro. Make calls…it worked for us.

I hope you will get picked up in January. I originally ordered in April, about the same time as you, and then updated the order to MY2023 in October, Dark Moss SX X-line terracotta, no Prestige. Latest update from the dealer couple weeks ago was like I am #3 in the queue. If your order gets picked up in January, I hope my order will be picked up as well.

Mine arrived as well at dealer and it's ready to go... but being in another state and a weekend gotta factor that back and forth document signing in and then gotta ship it!!
