Wow, what trim and color?

Originally, SX-P Nightfall in White ---> changed to SX-P X-Line in White after 2023 cutover

Got a call from the dealer today. My order was finally picked up. Build time is about 6 weeks. I was told the ETA will be some time around late February or early March. Now it's time to shop around for a good auto loan.

Same! Got my text yesterday. My ETA is end of March, but it showed up on Failcat today too.

I need to shop for seat covers too. We got gray leather and I want to keep it protected from the kids…

Very strange to have your vehicle show up on Failcat if they just picked up your order. VIN's aren't generated until after the paint process which would indicate the build is about complete. So unless it will take them 2 months to ship your vehicle, probably not yours on Failcat. Your dealer can confirm if it's yours or not.

I posted this in an old thread about "accessing inside of grill", but wasn't sure if I could repeat the request here?

Does anyone know if you can access behind the grill on a '23 by just removing the top black cover?
Wasn't sure if it was all one piece with the bumper assembly, or if there are clips on the front side of the top black piece where it attaches to the top of the grill?
Trying to add my mesh panel behind the grill without removing the entire bumper assembly...................

Does Failcat not show the window sticker anymore? I used to be able to click on the VIN and a window sticker would show. I can’t seem to get it to work. Any ideas?

Hasn't been working for a while. Kia keeps changing things and it makes it difficult for the failcat team to find a reliable method of getting access.

I don't think so, but even if you do there won't be much room to operate if installing grill mesh. Overall the front bumper assembly is pretty easy to remove and I would recommend doing so for said mod...lots of other stuff going on back there not visible from outside. This is my result with four separate mesh pieces:

Superb - I have not been able to find a decent video or 'how-to' on disconnecting from all the clips around the headlights, etc. I guess you just pull 'gently' until they detach? I may try again...

Yes, just pull straight out towards you as those clips around the headlight release. Recommend doing it in warmer temps as they can become a bit brittle in the cold. And don't forget about the one hidden bolt within each wheel well. There is one large wire connector on the passenger side for all bumper sensors and fogs.

For the clean install I just used a bunch of cable tie mounts with 2x sided outdoor Gorilla tape from the big box store. If it only lasts a few seasons or is only strong enough to absorb the blow of a small stone at 75mph...still a win IMO. I looked into some JB Weld products as well but didn't go that way.

Has anyone had an issue with mud, snow, grime, getting up into the bottom insides of the doors? It seems like there’s a small gap along the bottom of the doors that’s letting slush up into there. I just cleaned em so we‘ll see if it happens again. If it does I’m concerned about eventual rust.

My dealer keeps telling me he has no way to track my car until it shows up on his lot. Based on when my order was picked up, and my car specs, I'm pretty sure I saw it show up on failcat early this month, but they still keep telling me they won't know anything until it is delivered. Has anyone else had this experience?

That's really odd - I just imagine your dealer is either lazy or uneducated. Look at the details that my dealer has given me in my signature below. Just spoke to him today and my car is scheduled to have all the trim added on 2/4/23. So he knows exactly where the car is and what the schedule is - down to scheduled time the car is supposed to be loaded on the truck at the plant.

Sadly, that’s not true. They get updated in the system regularly once the VIN is created. The sales people may not have access but the manager and whomever orders the cars can tell you. That was the case at my dealer.

All that being said, it’s easier and faster to look it up yourself on failcat.

Oh so not just a 23 issue but issue with each year ?
I was under the impression it was common with 23 and was concerned bc I’m looking at an EX

You can find these threads on other forums for other makes and models. Doesn’t make it not an issue but I am willing to bet it is not unique to the Telluride.
