• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... We just picked up a 2024 Kia Telluride EX-XLine 2 weeks ago, and ordered TuxMats to protect floors. When we went to place them in the car we noticed a large scored cut-out of carpet under the driver's side 2nd row Captain's chair, with what looks like wiring tucked through in one portion. We called the dealership which is 45 minutes away and they informed us that they checked another Telluride on the lot and it had the same thing. We told them we are bringing it in to have them look at it in person, and inspect another one to see if it is the same. Is this normal?Carpet cut small pic.webp

Don’t waste the fuel. It’s normal.

Have the same cut-out in our new 2024 SX Prestige. Was disappointed to see it as it in a relatively visibly space.

Thanks for your replies. So we looked at another 2024 and apparently this is normal, but it looks like a defect or even damage to the eye. Wish they’d taken more care with the interior finish as it looks like a craft project. 🤔
