• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So most 2nd row captains chairs I have seen allow you to slide them up or back to give some more leg room in front or behind you. The ones in the telluride only seem to lock in the all the way to the back position and I can't figure out how to slide them up a little to give the back row a little more room.

I am assuming you can't at this point, but looking for someone to confirm...

Use the bar under the front of the seat to release the seat and move it forward to where you want, then release the bar. Works like all non power seats to adjust forward and backward.

When I do this it does not lock in place. It will keep sliding forward or back until it is all tje way back. Maybe I need to have it checked out.

I would take it to the dealer and have them check it out. We have 2 Tellurides with Captain Chairs and they all work fine.

Thanks! Wanted to verify before heading that way.

I think you are talking about when you fold them forward, after you fold them back you can use the bar underneath to adjust the leg room

Yes...get it checked, mine lock in to wherever I release the bar.

Found the issue. They do have multiple positions and slide back farther. The first position (closest to the driver) farther back than I expected.
