I really feel for you guys. Unfortunately, with today's cars...water/moisture is certainly something you don't want lurking around your electronics. Regardless if it's resolved, what about long term damage? I'd try to get it resolved while researching a possible return of car and not for another one! What's so different from your car and a flood damaged car other than possible salt water? Good luck and let us know how you make out. Truly sorry, if this was a discouraging post, but we are all here to help each other. Best of luck and I'm crossing my fingers for your getting it resolved.
 
Just because an item gets wet doesn't mean you're doomed to mold. I'm not a mold expert but it generally needs a continuous source of moisture, the proper environment and of course the mold spores that generally appear through a source of dirt and contamination over a lengthy time. A one and done area that got wet isn't one of these.

So we filed a complain with KIA corporate, as although it appears that the car is now "dried out" - I am concerned about the potential for future corrosion, another leak somewhere and mold. They are unwilling to repurchase or replace, but offered a "Goodwill" credit of an unknown amount - which I didn't even ask about as I am not willing to "sign off" of the multiple repair attempts with a settlement. They are escalating to another department - so we will see.

UPDATE - So we have had the Telly in 3 times for water...had it "dried out" and mold remediated. Waiting for KIA corporate to escalate ....and this morning the water is up through the flooring again on the passenger side, except now the water has gotten old and smelly. This is the 4 time in two months since we purchased. On hold with KIA Corporate now. So over this....
 
Need a lawyer to get their attention. Does Kia want to arbitrate this? They will lose! And they know it
 
They may mention a process they want you to follow but that’s what they want and not what you should do in this case. Just like a flooded car has a damaged title and diminished value, you will likely have problems down the road even if they fix it. This appears to be a lemon law case, may depend on what state you’re in but seems like an easy case. Get your attorney first because as soon as you mention attorney to Kia, they will go radio silent.

We have a 2024. Same issues, neither drain is clogged and 5-10 gallons of water under passenger seat. What did KIA end up doing for you?
 
I’m currently experiencing this with my 2024 Telluride. Have they come up with a resolution for you? If so, please pass along the fix.
 
I’m also currently dealing with this on a 2023. I’ll be having them look at it again as they thought it originally was the ac drained clogged but it’s still doing it. With enough of us there should be a recall or replacement

So I 'accidentally' placed a 5-gallon water jug in the back of my Telly and all of it emptied and hit the floor of my vehicle when accelerating and going around the corner. Don't ask. Was a nightmare. Long story short I soaked it all up with Terry cloth, and put fans and windows down for a week in my garage. I also put air freshners in the car as well. I also, since it had been months, put water/air absorber packs and yet to smell, humidity see anything. I was VERY surprised how the floor boards were so buttoned up with no grommet/release points for water (none that I could fine under the drivers/passengers front/rear. Long long story short. It has been over a year and no mold, smelliness, etc. Hope this helps. What I am wondering is 'HOW' to water get into your vehicles in the first place vs. a dumb butt move that I did and never had done since.
 
We have the same problem with our 2024 Kia Telluride. They keep saying it's a clogged drain or clogged hose. It's been back five times for the same exact problem and still no fix.
