• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Aftermarket Fog/Driving Light mounting options

I ordered Monday and the box came on Friday. Safely packaged and all appears to be in good shape with no damage. For a bumper insert that has no markings from Kia it fooled me! Looks OEM and the black even matches the insert on my S. Now just figuring out if I can just get away with removing the lower front skirt and trim or if I have to go the whole bumper fascia route. The fog lights themselves look just like the OEM ones but with no Kia part numbers. After the plastic and fog light install I’ll have to figure out how to get the harness into the firewall. The harness comes with its own relay and fuse and I think I’ll just run it to the battery. The push button looks simple enough but not too tacky. So far I’m really impressed for $250!

Let us know how the install goes! I have an S trim as well and would like to see the finished product. Thanks for sharing

i have been looking at doing some lighting as well here are some of my thoughts

2x 6" slim light bars in the factory location
2x 8" or 10" or 12" slim bars or just full length 30" in the same location @MichaelD put his bar (clean instal btw behind the grill very low key). Ohhh man that bar does light up the road though.....

one of the reasons why i want to split them up is in my state full on light bar is considered off road use only and i can get cited for using it on streets but if they are broken up into L and R they are considered DRL or regular driving lights. so i can drive with them on and not get tickets. This info comes from a retired cop (my neighbor) take it with a grain of salt

I am definitely watching this thread for the new after market fog light option. Having the light bar as a separate option would make perfect sense, especially for off road or late nights on empty roads.

im posting this here just so i can reference back to it later but i think this is the OEM lower grill with factory mounting brackets for OEM fog lights

Can we see that install @MichaelD? I didn't see it in recent postings or search.

Darn! What's the secret?

I've been looking at these listings in eBay, Walmart and Amazon for over 1-1/2 years and they have always been out of stock. I've even setup alerts on eBay, but never heard a peep!

I ended up giving up and thought is was a ghost listing....At least some people are able to purchase it now. Looking forward to the installation pictures.

I was doing the same thing, honestly, reviewing this forum was the alert that did it.

Started the eBay OEM like fog light and fog light grille install today. But I’m stumped and hoping someone has a trick for me.

Removing the front fascia was not hard. I followed the instructions on the YouTube video:
I just needed an 8mm, 10mm and a small flat screw driver.

So now that I have the front fascia off I’m trying to figure out how to remove the “tongue and groove” parts without breaking anything. Any ideas???? Anyone have any tricks or online resources?
