• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey all - got myself a Ebony Black EX a month or so ago. Went to tow my Four Winns boat and realized the safety chains wouldn't click easily onto the hitch holes. Anyone else have this issue, and what did you do about it? I fed the chains through the receiver hitch holes and attached them to each other for the 5 miles I needed to go, but not happy about that.

I don't have my Telluride yet so can't say for sure, but consider installing the stoutest steel (galvanized or stainless) quick link that will fit the hitch holes. Then, hook your safety chains to the quick link. For reference, these are the carabiner-like bits of oval hardware with a screw-down coupler; typically sold in the chain/rope section of a hardware store. Else, you're left trying to drill out the hitch holes to match the hooks on your safety chains.

Thanks for the heads up by the way; I don't tow my SeaRay often but good to know to check my chains in advance.
