If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thanks for sharing - makes me super happy with the one we ordered (Due around Feb, 2021). It's crazy how different the color varies from the one on Kia's website. Looks much darker here than there.

I wouldn't have a problem it anyway. Maybe the lack of metallic has something to do with the variability, but can't wait to see it in person.

Edit / NVM guess that's not wolf gray after all haha. Makes sense considering (from what I understand) they may not have entered production yet.

So assuming you are correct, I guess I will keep looking for a dealer in 250 mile radius of Kansas City that sells at MSRP, can commit to order me a Wolf Grey SX AWD Nightfall (NO Prestige) and have enough allocation I can get it in 3-5 months. ....#thequestcontinues....
Shawnee Mission Kia? Ordered Wolf grey same day I visited. Was easy as pie. Est arrival Oct 18th MSRP

Did you order with Prestige?

I did. Zero hassle really. That being said - I'm still not 100% on whether I'll go through with the purchase depending on the state of things when it finally arrives. School closed etc etc. My Wolf grey may be available (though I know you didn't want prestige). Dealer prided themselves on not selling above MSRP at least

Any chance you ordered it with the tow package?

Yup. SX-P with Tow

Keep me in the loop if you decide to go through or not — super interested in exactly what you ordered, just hadn’t made the commit yet as I’d reeeeeeaaally like to see what it looks like first.

Congrats !!! Sounds like a beautiful unique car your gonna have. We were going back and forth on the wolf grey or the everlasting silver. We chose the silver cause the wife didn't want a light color. Both are distinguished and make great color schemes with the nightfall package.

This is our long term car also. Have had a sportage with our 1 yr old but with a baby on the way and 2 dogs we need some more space. This will be our car we raise the kids with also. Congratulations!! Cant wait to see the pics.

Hey sorry I missed your original reply. Thanks for the kind words. Everlasting silver will look sweet too! Share your pics as well - you'll definitely have it before me!

Hello all -
First time poster and long time lurker here. This is a great forum! Great source of info and support for other Telluride enthusiasts. Especially the failcat/VIN site.

Placed an order/deposit on a 2021 Wolf Gray SXP with Nightfall earlier this week so I'm mentally prepping for the long wait. I saw a wolf gray K5 on the dealer lot so I'm confident (hopeful) that it will look just as good on a Telly especially with the Nightfall trim. Wish we could finally see a real photo though.

In the meantime, all I can go to for visuals is the Build feature on the Kia site:

I still do not understand why the Wolf Grey is the only color that Kia seems to be requiring the Prestige package with Nightfall package....I guess they think it is going to be "hot" enough to force that upgrade. Grrrr.... of course that is the color I want but just do not really care enough for the prestige features to justify the $2,300 up-charge. I have had several here and elsewhere say that per the training this combination is NOT required, but yet every reputable place I have talked to ready to order has said to use the kia.com build site since that is exactly they way they have to order on their side. So frustrating.

Just like how certain 2020 features trickled into the 2021 base models, they're probably using the 2021s as a pilot test to guage interest in Wolf Gray.

What really throws me is limiting wolf gray to a black only interior. I think the nappa brown looks *significantly* nicer than the black leather and don't care if it doesn't "match" the exterior wolf gray/blackout combo we're getting. It's like, I'm custom ordering just about the nicest telluride I can and am already paying a premium for it. How hard is it to mix & match that stuff.

Must have to do with production lines and cost analysis buckets they have setup to measure selling performance. Still though, the Tellurides can't sell fast enough right now so it's like "who cares?"

Maybe they're really really far behind in the manufacturing process and need to move on the black interiors. Oh well.

Looks like a front view of the wolf gray on this page. Idk

Would this be anyone's first color choice for their Telluride? I can see if it had the blackout package it could be ok. I can't imagine it looking good with the chrome finishes.

They're going to have two greys and a silver... I like blue, I wish they had a dark blue instead of adding another grey.

Edit: I thought the Ceramic Silver on the Stinger was wolf grey. I was corrected. Still, I can't believe they're adding another grey before any other colors.

Yes I agree with you as I am surprised why Telluride does not have the choice of blue color. My favorite color is actually dark brown or bronze so Dark Moss is what I bought because under the sun it sometimes looks like brown/bronze to me :)

Been dying to see the New Wolf Grey... Do you think this is it? This is off of Kia's Instagram. Could be everlasting silver though as I know that has a lot of different looks in lighting.

Could be, hard to tell. Its the same vehicle from all the other promotional desert shots we've posted looks like.
Paint on that pic looks more metallic where the wolf gray in person is more of a flat color. Who knows without KIA labeling it. Looks good to me either way tho in the nightfall edition.

It's crazy how Kia is not promoting this color at all, I mean not like they need to promote anything about the Telluride as of now, but still is a bit weird.

Sorry if this has already been posted. Here’s a vid of the wolf gray K5

Well, it’s not even out yet. We are (optimistically) at least 30-45 days from the first deliveries of any wolf gray models. Kia already has way more demand than they can even handle as is, so getting people too excited about something that isn’t even close to hitting dealers doesn’t seem worth it.

Once it does start showing up, it’s likely going to be either for people who got their order in sight unseen right when 2021 orders began, or for people who are going to spend $5-10K extra just to be the first to get one because that’s what their dealer was charging at the time.

That picture is everlasting silver. Its from Kias promotional nightfall edition photo shoot. Great color scheme IMO!

Agreed, Everlasting silver is beautiful especially with the nightfall. so few are produced according to the Failcat site. what gives?

Note: this has been posted before but I think it looks great with Nightfall (even though he calls it everlasting gray)
