Every now and then dealerships get delivered unallocated vehicles. i.e. Kia will send them vehicles that are not ordered. Theyre part of the standard allocation to the dealership. My salesman was trying to sell me one of those and then he would presumably sell the one that I ordered at a markup.Interesting. What does "wanting me to pickup something unallocated" mean? Thought you already put in your order? My salesperson said she had no idea whether I'd get a 22 or 23. Ordered 3/4, so 3 weeks before you.
Not a big deal. Just kind of got me thinking about what to do if I do get forced to a 2023. Its a bit more expensive to get what I want from the 22. We ordered an SX-N Ebony Black/Gray. The allocated had a different interior color and wasn't Nightfall and they have a markup on those. So I really didnt want to pay a premium for something that wasn't what we ordered.
I am a bit worried that we wont get what we want with the 2023 that is essentially made for us so we may just order a 2023 when they open that up to be safe. A 2023 SX/X-Line is the "same" car.
No sense in complaining about how we hate the 23 or whatever. No one in their right mind is going to buy a used '22 with the insane markups they have. So Im just going to plan ahead and order the 23 so we dont get stuck with something we dont like.
