• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello everyone, when using your autostart? If you open any passenger side doors does the car shutoff within seconds? I don't understand why this happens! Anyone else experience this?

It's explained in the manual. You have to either enter driver's door first, or at least toss the key in the front. IIRC it's about 10-15s after any door is open that the vehicle does a check for key being present in the driver's area.

Thank you so much!
