Bad Dealer Dealings - List Your Bad Dealer Experience

They did the same to me I was working with them trying to get exactly what I wanted. Of course it was the hardest to get so I asked if I could order they said no orders were being taken. First come first serve. The first time I never even drove the car they pestered me all week to come in for test drive even the morning I told them I was coming when I got there they said it was sold. They would not even let me look at it!!! I went nuts!!! They kept calling me after trying to make it right. Finally I was ready to cave for another color and was told there was going to be markup. Only a few thousand! Ok bye. Finally I said take my number off your list I will never even get an oil change at your dealership. You lost a 10 year loyal customer.

Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna try and stick with Muncie (unless my wife threatens me again, haha). Those guys have been great, it's just a long long wait, as we all know.
Muncie is awesome I just couldn’t wait I was in an extended lease. There was no real idea of time and my time was running out. They refunded and canceled my order no problem the next day. I am actually working on a extended warranty with them. Good luck! Really kinda wanted to take the drive and meet those guys lol!

Yeah, same here and thanks. I definitely understand. She told me last night I have one more month and then she's taking over!

This is the General Manager's response:

Good afternoon. I understand your spoke with Kirk Preiss the store manager last night in regards to your incoming pre-held Telluride. It has been brought to my attention that the vehicle identification # to the Telluride we had coming in assigned to you has been re-routed to DCH Temecula. This is completely out of our control. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. With that said Kia Motor America has re-routed a different vehicle that we have assigned to you. # 5XYP64HC3LG075678. I understand you are very upset but unfortunately there is nothing we can do. For the inconvenience we can offer you a loaner vehicle at no additional charge for you to drive while your vehicle is in transit. This vehicle is slated to arrive in 3 weeks (2 weeks after the previous vehicle).


Again we apologize for any inconvenience. If you would like to make a formal complaint please call 866-331-5632

Can you clarify that this is the vin of the one arriving in March that was already allocated to them? This is the vin she said she was pulling for me.

They are saying they rerouted that vehicle for me, however @StephenCantrelle has pointed out that a gravity grey s with the same interior was already allocated to them for early March delivery anyways. I want to see if this car, they're saying is a reroute, is really just a normal allocation anyways. I just want to be able to call her straight out for being a liar.

That’s the same one I was referring to.. same vin... looks like the ETA has moved up to 02-26... so that was already on the way when we discovered everything together the other night.

I'm getting vehicles mixed up maybe as I've glossed through the more recent updates. Are you talking about the second sticker on Vehicle 1 that was supposed to go to bgn8711 but went to someone else? Or is there a second sticker on Vehicle 2, which the dealership is now saying has been "rerouted" to bgn8711?

The original sticker he had said it was going to dealer he ordered from. When steven looked it up it was same vin number but going to another dealer. it’s not like they sold it to someone else it wasn’t even delivered to them. Does that make sense to you now? It’s very strange !
