• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Borla Exhaust coming

I know this is a lot later than the last post. I bought the Borla exhaust and I've enjoyed the little bit of vroom sound that I get when I give it gas. It is a simple install and no bolts or nuts to have to deal with. All rubber connections. I ended up purchasing a hitch after the fact and installed it after the exhaust was installed. Easy removal of the rubber connections. Now I have a pretty much brand new stock exhaust that I need to sell LOL
Put it up for sale in the members classified section and I’m sure you’ll have no trouble selling it.

Post the BORLA and will take a minute to resell it

Not sure if there will be a market for the stock Exhaust unless someone got into a serious accident. I have mine taking up space in the garage too...idk what to do with it.

Same, and the factory air box. I'm tempted to just dump both in some spring cleaning.

You’ve done the borla and k&n air intake?

Hold on did you install the K&N intake and the Borla?

If so how do you like having both mods done?
Because there is another forum taking about it and waiting to hear from someone that has done both if you find the exhaust louder with the k&n also installed?

Keep the stock exhaust. I never own cars more that 3-4 years and have routinely swapped out the upgrade for the stock before selling or trading in. Most don't care about it and I usually can get at least 50% of what I paid for it.

Yes, both. And enjoy/appreciate both. I did the Borla first, and K&N maybe a month later. IDK if me and getting pedal happy, but noticeably peppier after the K&N. I like the sound of the Borla a lot now. Then K&N added a throatier sound when getting on the throttle, but is otherwise 'quiet' while idling.

Finally a real world review of someone who has both plus the same order that I would be looking at.

I have the Borla now. Very subtle. Noticeable on cold startup for sure.

Was thinking of adding the CAI but didn't think it would make a difference but it clearly did for you!

Nice. Thanks for the info. You don’t happen to have any sound videos of them both do you??
Now you just need the pedal commander.

Hahahaha. Sorry. I did Borla, pedal commander, then K&N.

I'll see about getting a vid/clip in the next day or so.

Ya, i wasn't going to do the K&N because they wouldn't ship to CA. But i found a promo code and had it shipped one state over to my cousin, and used it an excuse to visit them.

If he got the pedal commander it would be game changing!
I was actually thinking about it today. With the three mods, it def feels like a whole new car, but in a good way. But I did turn the pedal commander down two steps after installing the K&N.

What mode do you find you run your pedal commander on most. Ive got the pedal commander on hand, borla will be ordered and supposed to be picking up telluride this weekend if all goes well.

I've always had the Telly on smart. Then before the K&N i had the PC on city +3. Now that i have the K&N, PC is on city +1.

I was considering the borla, but the wife wasn't on board (her car). So I removed the muffler to paint the tip black. While I had the muffler off I started the car and HATED the sound. If that is anywhere close to what it sounds like with the borla installed, then it isn't for me.
