Bummed - Went to the dealer to have them sell it out from under me...

... this evening. Dealer lot White SX-P with white/grey interior. I wanted a tow package but was willing to compromise . I was nice enough to stop and grab my titles and to put a full tank of gas and wash for my trade.. that and traffic cost me the deal. They said "we thought you weren't coming" and sold it out from under me. I had already filled out the credit application etc.

So, pretty bummed.. I went and looked at the Palisade.. but wasn't super impressed.

I just wanted to vent. Seems they're still pretty hard to get. I called another local dealer that showed one, but they were asking for $8k OVER MSRP. Kra-zee.

P.s. Anyone selling SX-P at an MSRP, I'm all set to go.

That sucks! I am going today to pick up my sxp copper black with dune! I will die if that happened! I do have a 2500 deposit on it so hopefully it won’t. Good luck in the search!

That’s messed up. Hear it too many times on here. Most salesmen/women suck at there job. There is a spreadsheet on here from a member, you can try to find one not sold yet. Don’t let that dealer stop you from getting the ride you want. There are a couple dealers on here that will take a new order hassle free, but of course the wait again. Hope it works out for you.

You might have dodged a bullet, since it isn’t possible to know what it actually sold for.

They told me.. this dealer sells at MSRP 100% of their Tellurides. I had negotiated Carvana pricing or higher for my trade as well.

Bet you are excited!! You've been anxiously awaiting since your Sept order. Muncie came through for you in the end! Still within a 4 month window I believe. Great!

Well that’s better. If you’re going to spend this much money, you might as well get the vehicle you want. You can’t add the tow package after you buy the Telluride.

They're probably going to install the hitch, but not the self leveling shocks.

They install everything but the shocks. You can still tow the same capacity, so it really had no major effect.....unless you plan on putting a ton of weight and don't want the little bit of rear droop. Total cost out the door with labor was just over 1100 here in OH. Kia had a mistake from something earlier though so they covered labor and 300 of parts. I'm only out 350.
