If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Canadian 2021 Telluride

Anyone in the Ottawa area have any recommendations for a detailer? Thinking about PPF and also would like a resource for periodic detailing through the year.

I installed a hitch on my telly. Would anyone in the GTA have a use for the lower cover that I removed to install the black cover with the spot for the 7-pin connector?
Hi, if you still have the hitch cover, I'd be interested. I'm a newbie at this forum so not sure how to DM you...

Well, since I didn't hear back from Genblue, if there´s anyone interested in selling their black hitch bumper cover (the one you remove to install the KiaTow Hitch Bumper Cover S9F61 AU060), I'm interested. I´m located in Toronto. Thanks!

I currently own a 2011 Mazda CX-9, which has been an excellent car with no problems. Was considering a Q7 to replace it but test drove the Telluride and the wife and kids find it roomier on the inside. The Q7 is definitely a lot more luxurious and drives a lot better than the Telluride, but the Telluride is more functional and better for our family's needs and also about $25k (+ taxes) cheaper. Can anyone recommend a dealer in the GTA? Has anybody bought from Georgetown or Brampton? What should I try to get in terms of pricing for a Nightsky?

Also, what problems have people faced with this car here in Canada? I saw the other thread about one of the forum members filing a lawsuit against Kia and that's now making me wary about buying t this car, especially coming from an extremely reliable, problem-free made in Japan Mazda.

Stouffville kia or Toronto Kia.

I have been experiencing the 110+km/hr vibration problem that two different dealers have not been able to fix.

All modern cars have problems, the question is how they are solved and how manufacturers react to them.
In my experience and opinion (this is my new 3 kia for 4 years), the kia has no desire to help the client at all. Everything must be knocked out and or begged for.
+ some engineering forgiveness, such as vibration, which will not be resolved before the facelift.
This explains the superiority over competitors and the cheap price.
If you are lucky (buy lotto max for Friday 70m + 50m), then maybe there will be no problems, but if they arise, you will get tired of solving them.
And of course, after the response received from KMMG, I will never buy a large telluride assembled there.
Follow my topic, there will be bomb material coming soon.

In terms of pricing, just shoot a mass email to your surrounding dealers, whatever reach you are comfortable with. Tell them the model you want and any accessories to have thrown in.

I did this and found some dealers don’t play ball and only two really wanted to work out a deal. Ignored any other BS you hear about MSRP being their best price or how they need to charge you an admin fee. Ended up buying from Orangeville Kia, as Ryan was a good guy to deal with from the start. Also received 10% off accessories (IIRC)

haven’t ran into any problems with the car myself and has been a pleasure to drive and let it drive for me on the 401.

We're waiting on a Telly from Georgetown Kia right now. They wouldn't budge from MSRP on the Nightsky but we got them to include a few accessories at N/C and waive a couple fees. Just waiting now... They said it would be 8-10 weeks for a new NS order. We're coming up on week 5 now.

We probably could have shopped around and saved a couple hundred, but couldn't be bothered and were satisfied enough with what we paid.

Literally previous page I posted this picture.

Your does not look good or correct. I would not accept that.

Normally I would say don't want away from a vehicle that you will love for a minor thing, but yes that looks really bad.

Mine is the way it's supposed to be. I love the way they did mine.

Do you know if this an OEM KIA a hitch? It would be great to get the part number… f it’s not can you tell us the manufacturer? Thanks.

Just wanted to post my sincere appreciation to the TELLURIDE FORUM, and specifically to two members. It was seeing posts from Jerrybeav and Danstra that got me to make an inquiry about an SX from Ryan at ORANGEVILLE KIA. After talking with five dealers from the GTA to Bracebridge, Ryan Richards gave me a straight forward quote, with no bull and a great attitude. We ordered a Glacial white SX and had it in approximately 3.5 weeks (we were lucky to catch the last Canadian production before the 2022 cut off). Orangeville is was great to deal with - Ryan and Linda Richards had our T’Ride prepped and ready for pick up as promised last Monday. A great price, very fair trade in value on our vehicle, and best of all NO surprises. We absolutely recommend talking with and taking a drive to Orangeville to make your purchase.

If you are looking to purchase a T’Ride, do yourself a favour and check with Orangeville KIA… dealt straight up with us from day one. Best pricing, in less than half an hour (and best trade value), after talking with dealers from the GTA to Bracebridge. Talk with Ryan or Linda Richards before you buy.

I got an SX Limited priced out at a dealership in southern Alberta for just under $59,500 after all taxes and fees, this includes block heater/ wheel locks and nitrogen. Does this sound in line with what most have seen recently? I visited another dealership last week, and they priced out similar at about $63,500 ( so this sounds like a good deal)

Also, sales guy said that it will likely be a 2022 as some of the ones that they ordered earlier this month were confirmed to be 2022’s. I am looking at an eta of about 3 months

I can only say for 2021's, but some of us got SX Limited Nightsky for just slightly more September last year (I factory ordered in August) in Calgary. Considering the price has gone up slightly, and it's a 2022, not a terrible deal IMO. But you will pay more at the start of a model year then in the middle or later.

I was told mine would not have block heater/ wheel locks and nitrogen but it did.

I have a guy at South Trail Kia if you want to talk to him and see what he can do for you. I personally am not a fan of Straightline Kia (They dicked me around too much, and would not let me factory order), but other here have had good experiences.

It was 100% OEM, the part number has been listed many times on this forum and even in this thread.

S9F61-AU000

My 7-pin install was not OEM or done at dealer as it was not available in Canada in September 2020, not even sure it's available now. Dealer got a third party to install it, and they did a great job.
(Sorry for bold, the post got messed up when I added the link)

Thank you! Ordered today.

Thanks for the info. A coworker knows someone at Southtrail, so I will reach out to them as well. I do love the look of the Nightsky, especially the wheels, but also really liked the Napa seats in the Limited. It does look like the 2022’s will have the blacked out grill, based on the pics I have seen.

Nightsky way better then Nappa IMO, but I am biased :)
