• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... So the change channel toggle in my telly (the toggle with MODE above and hangup call below it) is programmed so that if you toggle up that the track goes backwards instead of forward. (e.g. instead of "next song" it now goes back to the start of the song)

Is there a way to change the direction in settings? Most vehicles I've ever been in have it the other way around.

Sorry if this sounds confusing. Wanted to see if others are experiencing the same issue.

It's definitely backwards. I've learned to deal with it as opposed to looking to see if there's an easy way to reassign function to them.

Kia did that so when you are looking at a playlist, the switch make sense. I agree it is backwards from other brands.

Yes, I have this annoyance too. It bothers me with changing between my preset radio stations as it seems backwards. I assume I'll get used to it eventually, but I'm not there yet a week into ownership.

I just started another thread describing the same situation not knowing there is already another thread with the same topic. Glad to know I am not the only oddball in the forum. I love my Telly so much I really want it work perfectly....

I’ve just grown used to it, even though I’d still prefer it to be the other way around. If you typically use those buttons for radio presets you could always just rearrange the order of your presets from high to low...then when you toggle, the buttons would work how we’re all more accustomed to...

Maybe somebody would be daring enough to open up the plastic cover and see how easy it is to flip the switch, wiring contacts.

Very interesting idea!
