• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Anyone know how to reset the child locks? The lock button was in the on position and my wife opened the rear driver side door but forget that it was electronic and accidently pushed the child lock lever (manually) and then tried to close the door. The lock is now in a closed position and we can not close the car door. I have tried to reposition with a screwdriver but can not reset. Any suggestions?
 
Pressing the electronic child lock button on the drivers door armrest doesn't do anything? There is also a fuse for the ICM relay box for the child lock mechanism. Maybe pulling and reinserting could reset?
