Has anyone hardwired a dashcam? I wanted to see what fuses they used. I wired to the Rear wiper(Switched) and the Rear Seat Monitor(Constant). Purposely chose systems that would not cause a major issue if there were a short, even though it is protected by its own fuse.

I hardwire a dashcam to the 7.5 amp aux
fuse. It's the one near the bottom in the third section. Works great, only question I have is how it will affect the warranty

Is that fuse constant or switched?
