If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Dealer Markup

@Cliv80 and @Crakkajakka15 If you can't find it elsewhere on the forums, when we ordered ours in October, Abeloff Kia in Stroudsburg, PA was selling orders for MSRP. I don't know if they changed since then. We ended up just calling around to a bunch of places and asked if they were marking up the Telly. We ended up going with a placer closer to us in NJ and got it for MSRP. A lot of the places were selling for $8k over sticker.
I got mine at MSRP ordering from Lev Kia in Framingham. Numerous salespeople are still calling asking if I still want a Telluride or if they can help with any other purchase. Nothing gives me more pleasure than telling them that when I was shopping for a Telluride I learned which dealers were good and which just want to rip people off by charging over MSRP. I tell them that they are not one of the good ones, I will never do business with them, and take me off all of their calling/contact lists. I have even had managers call me back to let me know they have taken me off their lists, hoping for an indication that maybe I didn't mean it. My turn to get them back!!

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Why not name the dealer? You could save our members and viewers a lot of time by letting them skip that dealership and give their time to a more worthy sales team...
yes name the dealer and I am calling the FTC and the State Atty General to find out if this is illegal under Usury laws

It's been 2 years and supply (even with increased production) still hasn't entirely caught up with demand.

There are Cali Ford dealerships asking for $10k above list for the Bronco Sport.

Wonder what they'll be asking for the real Bronco.
Bronco sport just came out. The Telly is going on 3 years now.

Interesting first post. Usury has to do with interest rates, not price gouging. And you replied to a 2 year old post.

All the dealers in the SF Bay Area and LA Area are charging anywhere between $2k - $6k mark up above the MSRP. I called a dealer in Houston, TX and they are not doing that. CA is the only state that it is charging extra for this car. I guess is the law of supply and demand.
Phoenix is adding almost $10,000

Hendricks Cary NC is at msrp. Easy deal with. No hassle even on trade in. DM me if you want a contact #.

Just went to Riverside Kia and they markup the Telluride 15k on top of MSRP because they say high demand. Sunrise Kia (Ontario, CA) is marking theirs up 10K for same reason. They markup because stupid people are buying them and their crooks. When you stop paying these outrageous markup prices for any car then the prices will come down plain and simple.

I drove 10 hours in a one-way rental car to buy mine in Texas. Dealers local were charging 5-10k over.

Where did you go? I went to a Parkway Kia in Humble, Texas and the rep told me they are getting 12-15k OVER MSRP on Tellurides. I am not that desperate! And if I was going to pay 65k for a car, I would then have to take a look at Mercedes and Lexus.. Part of the reason I am attracted to the Telluride is it is a great value for the money. That value is negated if I pay 65k.

Central KIA in Plano. Can’t guarantee their prices are still same, as this was last August. Worth a call.

Order at Fort Bend Kia - but their wait is probably 6+ months at this point.

Can try Sterling Kia in Bryan also.

As of about 3 weeks ago Fort Bend told me 8 months. I went with Van Griffith in Granbury. So far the communication has been great and 3-5 months is a lot better than 8 months.

Yes, they are a reliable dealer also. Glad they aren't charging markups.

Went to Central Kia of Plano about a month ago - they were charging $5k over MSRP at that time.

Huffines Kia McKinney and Huffines Kia Corinth are ordering at MSRP. Moritz Kia Alliance ordering at MSRP + $898 dealer add (tint and nitrogen).

I am thinking of ordering with Hendricks from out of state - you think all went well? No last minute mark-ups or surprises?
