  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Dealers still asking for premium?

They tried to say this was "KIA policy" but we knew that was not true because I had driven a Telluride at another dealership (just not the SX model). My husband had never driven one and we thought this might be a good idea BEFORE buying a $45k car. Silly us LOL

That’s hysterical! Because a buddy of mine purchased a Telluride from them and while he was waiting to get the call that it was ready for pickup, he found out that they were using it as a test drive vehicle for the day!!!

WOW. SMH.

Funny, my local dealer has a used FWD SX with 5,500 miles on it. They are still asking $49,000. Fat chance I say.
Our store just put a FWD LX into demo status. It's the only way we could get one for people to drive. Everything more or less sold when it hits ground. It actually just showed today. It will be available down the road.

I’ve driven four different Tellurides at as many dealerships. I guess those other guys let the Telluride’s popularity go to their heads. Not sure how they plan on selling a car you can’t test drive.

I hope I don’t have to wait five months for the one I ordered a couple of weeks ago.

WOW. SMH.

Our first sit in a Telluride ended up being a saleswoman at a local slimy dealership who had nothing to demo on the lot. We asked if we could sit inside (we were literally only shopping for legroom for 3 teenagers over 6' - hint, Telluride beat everyone by a long shot..including the Model X P100D...which made me really sad).. anyways, we sat inside and then heard crying. Turns out they were in the process of finishing the sale on the vehicle we were sitting in, the mom was working with the salesman, and this poor 3yr old girl was crying because she thought we were 'stealing her car' after she saw us sitting in it.

The saleswoman had snuck us inside when mom wasn't looking. We felt soooooo bad, apologized to the mom..and she said 'it's all good, they did the same thing to me right before I ordered mine...'

uggh. SMH for sure.
