Thank you for offering Jason. You seem like a great guy. As I mentioned above I really have patience. I'm not in a lease thats ending, so I do have a little time. It's funny that here in NJ the dealers seem to have every color except the silver. I really want to see it in person first. I just found a dealer in North NJ that has two of them, so I might take a ride. Thanks for your offer :)
 
The irony is Jason is selling at $1,500 below MSRP and everyone is thankful. Yet with 90% of cars out there most would feel like they did not get a good deal unless it's 10-12% off MSRP.

Good for him and stupid of other dealers to be so greedy.

We appreciate it. It's been a wild ride these past few months. Almost a full-time job just with Telluride alone. We've quoted in just about every state. Come on Hawaii and Alaska!

I got my local (like 1.3 miles from home local) dealer to order one at MSRP. Took some doing. Hope it doesn’t take forever. I’m impatient. They want $4k or more over MSRP, depending on color, for an SX-P (Long Island, NY), even if you order it.

Got him to order it for sticker. He originally wanted $4k for an SX-P whether off the lot or special ordered. I really wanted it from the local guy just for convenience. Free oil changes and inspections for life, and loaner cars for service. Next closest dealer that would order one at MSRP is a 40 minute drive away. I actually used that guy to leverage my local guy and it worked.

That's great! I wanted to buy local just for those perks but the locals wouldn't budge on their premium+ pricing. Their loss
 
Kia of Norwood also does not allow anyone to "test" drive the Tellurides UNTIL a financial deal is reached (presumably agreeing to the insane marked-up price). It was so outrageous that we just laughed, walked out of that stealership, and will never return. We are still laughing as we tell the story to as MANY people as possible. If this is how the sales dept. operates, you know how they must treat their customers when service is needed!

This should never happen. Anyone should be able to test drive a KIA.

Sansone Kia in NJ is taking orders. Their communication is definitely lacking throughout the whole process, but I got my ordered SXP from them (ordered 4/16, delivered 9/3).
Also, they're charging MSRP - incentives. When I was there 2 weeks ago for an oil change they had just gotten an SXP. I posted it here and an individual went that same night and bought it for MSRP - incentives, with 1.9 @ 48 months financing.
Might be worth it to check them out.

They tried to say this was "KIA policy" but we knew that was not true because I had driven a Telluride at another dealership (just not the SX model). My husband had never driven one and we thought this might be a good idea BEFORE buying a $45k car. Silly us LOL
