• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... OMG I want one so baddddd, but Im all the way in Texas and I am so scared to buy a car I cant see in person, Ive never done it before. Is it best to contact you through e-mail? I will def bake you cookies :).

Look, just order the car today, and do it with Jason Fox. You're looking at a several month wait anyway, and there's really no binding commitment, as Jason can always sell the car to another willing buyer if you decide to back out. You shouldn't back out though. We briefly saw an LX and SX-P in late March, drove an EX at same time... ordered an SX-P in late April - we couldn't be more pleased. I was similarly nervous about the whole transaction - but took a deep breath and dove in. My transaction worked out well with my local dealer here in Houston, but I got the order in early (before markups were the norm at nearly every dealership) and was able to take advantage of KMF rebates. Since you are a baker, you're probably a Costco member, and Jason Fox / Kia of Muncie is the ONLY dealer around offering Costco pricing - which is a substantial discount now that Kia and KMF rebates have expired or dwindled. Even if you were to have it transported, the total transaction price would be less than MSRP. Plus, Jason wants cookies.

Since you're in the Dallas area though, you can see inventory (when they have it) at the Huffines dealerships or at Van Griffith Kia - which has been noted as a good dealer. Moritz Kia can also be good to work with - though they aren't taking orders and likely have a markup now. I tried to buy from Van Griffith over the phone months ago, but as I was talking on the phone, someone else bought the car (they were offering an SX-P with no additional markup - in May!) That's when I gave up and resigned myself to waiting - glad I did!

They are both great. Just comes down to which one looks best to your. I felt like the Pallisade looked like a Lexus and the Telluride more like a Range Rover. Bought a Telluride SX today.

Have u driven both? If not you should. I did and liked the ride much better in the telluride in my opinion drive them back to back. My husband agreed that’s why I decided on the wait for ordering the telluride. Plus I thought the interior was a little tacky looking in pally. Felt more grounded to the road in telluride not floating on top of it. If that makes any sense I don’t know how else to describe the ride
Exact same test drive experience/decision!
