• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... While I am absolutely disgusted by the big chrome emblem in the rear, I kind of like the front emblem.
I don't like overlay sticker, so I'm planning to get a piano black hyperdip. Did any of you actually blackout with plastidip/hyperdip? If you did, can you share some photos from different angles?

Haven't received mine yet but plan on doing the same. Piano Black HyperDip on the rear, Shadow Black on the front.

I am waiting on my '22, but blacked out everything on my '20 S. I used Hyper dip and was very happy. Now I am undipping as I get ready to trade it in.

I just wrapped by 2022 yesterday after receiving it on 4/1/2022.

Just sprayed my rear emblem with black plasidip. Happy with results. Prep and waiting between coats was more time consuming then actually process.

You should post some interior photos of that ride of yours...

I’m not offended by either, but I feel like the black emblem looks nice on the back and I’m with you on the front. The chrome/silver logo on the black grill is a nice contrast.

Is there any advantages/preferences to using plasti dip vs the vinyl badge covers you can order? Does one look better or last longer?

Is this something you do yourself or do you take it somewhere specific? Interested but unsure of the process here. Looks great, btw.
Use Hyperdip instead. New formula and would work better on logos. Also, check out the DipYourCar channel on YouTube for tutorials.

The vinyl overlays leave some exposed chrome on the sides of the letters. Hyperdip would cover the entire surface.

Looks amazing! Thank you so much! I'm still debating between Piano Black (Hyperdip) and regular black matte plasti dip. The front will look better with a matte finish, and the rear needs to be matched with Telluride letters (glossy finish).... maybe I should get just plasti dip and spray glossifier for the rear only??

I used Piano Black Hyperdip also. Did my wheels too. I just redid my rear logo as I didn't like a tiny drip bubble mine had (probably no one but me would have ever noticed) so I don't have a new pic of that. But IMO the Hyper dip is the way to go. Just follow the videos and don't get spray happy. Less coverage with more coats is for sure the way to go with Hyper. Best thing about it is you just peel it off when you don't want it/don't like it anymore.

If you want matte, use Shadow Black Hyperdip. I'm using Shadow Black for the front logo, Piano Black for the rear.

I LOVE this orange! What color is that? I may get my wolf gray done this color!
