If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I've noticed some lucky individuals receiving their Tellurides much faster than others. I've ordered an SX-P and was given a delivery time of six months. This was a little over one week ago.

How is it that this happens? Are there dealerships that have a faster turnaround time due to whatever factors? Would it be possible to identify them and possibly place an order?

If this matters in this case, my specs are:
SX-P NFE GG/DB

I'm curious to see the change in grille and trim finishes. I may decide to do without the NFE. :)

Some dealers have more allocation of Tellurides than others. I believe some Telluride trims/additions are created more than others e.g. NFE vs. non-NFE. Sometimes people cancel their orders and other's still on the waiting list that have similar builds get matched and bumped up.

If you're new here I'd suggest you browse the forums, especially the "How to Build A KIA Telluride" section. You'll find helpful timelines, what people are paying, what dealers to avoid and what dealers to shop.

Many of us have been patiently waiting 6 to 8 months+ and if you're wanting to pay close to or at MSRP, chance are you'll be in the same boat. Otherwise if NEED a Telluride now, there's ways to go about it, but expect to pay a pretty penny.
