If you are a Disabled Vet, there is a $400.00 discount on top of other incentives. Salesperson did not ask if I was military, retired military or a disabled vet. Found out about it after I bought the vehicle. You can apply after the fact and Kia will send you s check. You will need VA proof of disability (get the letter of assignment on line), bank statement showing VA deposit and I think I had to submit a copy of my DD 214.

You bring up a good point. Manufacturers incentives, such as the Military one you mention are exactly that: They are from Kia and if you didn't get it at the point of sale, you can go directly to Kia and receive it post-sale.
