• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Curious if anyone has seen the issue I’m seeing. The distance to empty at the top of our display is just showing “———“ since we filled the tank last. The fuel gauge has been working though so not a pump issue. 3500 miles and everything else has been perfect. The dealer wanted us to bring it in but I don’t have the time

I haven’t encountered that yet, mines been pretty spot on. Guessing it would be a fairly quick and easy fix at the dealer though. Maybe just a hook up to the computer and a reset?

Depends on how close to the gas station you are.. Mine after filling up will be blank for around a half mile before it starts to register.

That seems odd, in other cars I see that the range is adjusted as soon as the car turns on after refueling.

I’m 3/4 through this tank with no change

Curious if perhaps you reset your mpg and it is waiting on a number to calculate. It is odd, let us know.

I drive a 2021 . Same issue any solution yet?

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn this feature off? In all my previous cars, it was a menu item you could scroll to but it wasn't staring you in the face all the time. In my playing with the system and reading the manual, there does not appear to be a way to either turn it off or display something different. Thanks.

Because I am unable to follow instructions or read the manual, I always top-off at the pump to squeeze as much gas as possible into the tank, even though Kia does not recommend this.

A couple of times it took a few seconds for the Distance/Range to register, perhaps it's counting fuel entry into the tank instead of level of gasoline and needs a second or two to allow the gas to settle and give a best estimate?

Don't know how that sensor works but something might be loose or malfunctioning with yours?

This is a 2019 thread; doesn’t seem like a recurring problem. A trip to the dealer could probably fix this if it continues

@qwikhit:

Ahhh, that makes sense now. I rarely check the date/year for the start of the thread and check "New Posts" soooo my bad ;)

I've seen a few Infotainment screen quirks that haven't repeated themselves too often so if they don't come back, good :)

I have the same issue with my 2021 did you ever find an answer?
Rhondakay hasn't posted since Feb 2021. You best start a new thread and give a full accounting of details about your problem.

I'm back! Just sold my 2020 SX Everlasting Silver for a 2024 Wolf Grey SX Pro (kinda wish I had waited to find a Prestige - miss the head-up) but overall happy

I just put $15 in my 23 Kia forte and the miles to e feature didn’t add more miles. I only put $15 min to make it across the state where it’s cheaper. Hopefully I make it. Lol
