• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I'm starting to gather my intel on how to do it, and I've seen videos on people who manually back the parking brake out on the rear of the car. I'm trying to do this the correct way, and not have to manually move it. So my question is, I have a Harbor Freight Zurich ZR-Pro car diagnostic and it's a nice piece of hardware when diagnosing engines and of course when you have things like this to change the brakes. I was testing last night, and found the service menu in the ZR-Pro to put the parking brakes into service mode. It says to have the Ignition On, Engine Off, and then Continue, however the screen in the car flashes Check ESC, and the ZR-Pro says "Check Condition" Any mechanics who have done this with the computer, do you need to turn the ESC off in order to use a tool to move the parking brake?

Thanks in advance! Any assistance is appreciated!
