The way things are going ( crazy times ) you may drive your 22 for a few years sell at same price or more than purchased , then upgrade to a very new and improved Kia Telluride with 22 styling on a 24 modelI'm so glad I'm getting my 2022 delivered here in a few days. I very much dislike the front end of the 2023... that bumper thingie is just awful! The new dashboard looks nice, but I'm happy to be getting my 2022!
That's kind of what I'm doing right now. I currently have a 2019 Nissan Kicks SR and I'm trading it in for just a couple thousand less than I paid for it. Love the Kicks, but ready to upgrade to a bigger vehicle with a few more "goodies" in it! However, I am going to miss the 34 MPG I get with the Kicks! The way things are going ( crazy times ) you may drive your 22 for a few years sell at same price or more than purchased , then upgrade to a very new and improved Kia Telluride with 22 styling on a 24 model
Gas mileage is one of the few things not happy with this vehicle . I live in Millsboro DE do a lot of driving back to Staten Island NY where my son and Family live . 225 miles each wayThat's kind of what I'm doing right now. Don't bet the ranch on that one. Standard for the auto industry - not just KIA - is 3 years before significant design changes.then upgrade to a very new and improved Kia Telluride with 22 styling on a 24 model
I'll start gushing over the digital dashes when they can do it like the Mercedes and Cadillacs with the OLED screens. Those will look gorgeous! ESPECIALLY at night. The digital dash looks like it has a massive inactive area in the middle. I might guess that they kept the 12" center console screen (and it's position), and added the Palisade driver screen, and bridged them with black painted glass. I haven't seen anything that indicates a continuous UI is possible. Not sure if that would annoy me or not, just an observation.
It is two separate 12.3” screens on the same plane. Just like the Carnival, EV6, Sportage, and Ioniq 5. The small space between the screens is going to be covered by the steering wheel, anyway. The Palisade (even the 2023) still has a hooded and recessed gauge cluster. It isn’t on the same plane as the infotainment screen. The digital dash looks like it has a massive inactive area in the middle. Fugly! That front end still reminds me of a Lego bumper.
You are going to have to be satisfied with things like the video that was posted today with a dealer discussing the NEW features with a KIA rep. A side-by-side comparison doesn't exist, nor will it ever be.Can someone post of share a site where the 2023 model is shown or compared to the 2022
That is a GREAT link - thanks. Gets as close to a side-by-side as anything I have seen. You could see the look of a 21,22,23 model below . I don't think the new front bumper on the 23 is that bad . I just hope the yellow light around front LED remain . Thats a nice distinctive look.
2023 Kia Telluride Review, Pricing, and Specs
If they matched the color of the front lego bumper with the body it would probably look a lot better.I agree the front of the 2022 looks nicer but not a deal breaker for a 23.
My thoughts exactly… we plan on replacing our 2021 when it’s in its fourth year - so probably a 2025. If they look like the 2023 I’ll be buying a dark colour so it camouflages the fugly grill and bumper. If they matched the color of the front lego bumper with the body it would probably look a lot better.
