Do the headlights stay on during the day?
I keep mine always on (they do turn off after you shut off your car, so it doesn’t drain the battery, and there isn’t a “dummy bell”) so that I don’t have to transition them during rainy days/foggy days and times when I want my vehicle to be more visible. Love this feature on both my Optima and the Telluride.Do the headlights stay on during the day?
Yup!! It’s really freaking awesome. When I drive my mom’s Explorer her dummy bell dings like crazy and makes me irrationally irritated. No such nonsense with my Kia.Hmmm... wasn't aware of that... set mine to Automatic the day I picked it up and never tried any other position.
Didn't work that way in my Escape... if the lights were 'On' rather than 'Auto' - got the 'idiot chime'... if left on anyway, they would go off after 30 min to not drain battery; but just tested in the Telluride and goes off after the same short time delay as the Auto setting.
That is how my 15 Subaru was.
