• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Do you have any complaints about your Telluride?

I don’t own yet, but these seemed to be issues for me:
1) remote start on key fob. I am okay to use on app but not willing to pay for that ever I think it’s a basic functionality should have been part of current design irrespective of trim.
2) 3rd row power folding seats. I know this is something is available in Palisade, but just like Telluride more.
You can get remote start on your Key Fob, its about $450 but I just had it included in my deal without paying extra for it. However, so far I have had no problem with the app and like it better because I can set my temp for the A/C and turn on the vents for the seats with the app. Being in Texas I primarily only use the remote start to cool off the vehicle anyway or warm it up on cold days but wanted to remote on the key fob if there is an issue with cell service.

I'm seriously considering the SX. I'm not happy about lack of key fob remote start. I have no interest in paying for a service for the APP after two years. I'm not a big app user anyway. Turn on your phone, wait for app to load, then sift through options to select start...... is WAY too inconvenient compared to pushing the button of fob. Am I misinformed or this lack of fob in fact true?

I just got my SX yesterday and I'll tell you that you will not be disappointed. It is a great vehicle and loaded with features, more than what my Audi had.

One other note. With the app, you don't have to be in range of the key fob so if your car is parked somewhere outside, you can heat or cool the car way before you reach it. In my opinion this is way better.

I hate the auto engine shutoff when you stop but all cars are going this route. I just wish it would remember your setting.

One thing I really like about the Telluride is where they located the button to turn that off. It’s in a convenient place vs the Highlander that puts it way over on the left behind the steering wheel.

That's a plus but it still is bad that it doesn't remember the last setting.
Wish the default was "off" like my Audi S7. PITA to continuously deactivate after every start.

Not sure now until Palisade comes out.

That’s cool, but don’t you have to pay for UVO service after complementary subscription expires? How long is that free by the way.

I got 3 years free. Not sure how much it costs after that but all car companies are doing this now. Just another way to make money.

You can't, you have to do it each time you start the car. Just having to remember to do it each time

Someone on the Stinger forum figured out how to do it. It is probably similar and somebody will figure it out on the telluride too. Give you something to look forward to!

On the Stinger forum, you can either take apart the console and jumper the switch or wedge a piece of a business card in the switch to hold it down and it will disable itself after each start up.

How did you got 3 years, other people reported they have got only one year or free service, what model/trim/options you have?

I have the SX and it says good through March 22, 2022. I just checked.

My Kia Telluride (2020, purchased in Oct 2019) has a seat that is fading. Only one seat in the second row and one spot on the opposite door. It's either a white film that won't come off or it's fading to white. It's hard to tell.

Stopped by the dealer again, and after another drive with the wife on board, decided that the plastic trim will not be a deal breaker. I’ll use my detail products (Meguiars Vinyl & Rubber conditioner spf 40), and garage the car as much as possible.
its really not a big deal in that I have owned Land Rovers for years and I used the tire shine product on my plastic trim every once in a while after a wash. Never had faded trim.
