Do you have any complaints about your Telluride?

I called Consumer division of KIA...They told me that an added REMOTE control added to the 2020 will void warranty....

Just curious. What part of the warranty would be voided? The whole thing? for the FOB? The starter?

The shiny plastic trim on the center console is highly reflective and when the sun hits it at certain angles it blinding! I have to keep the front compartment cover open to mostly avoid it. Not good design.
The interior door handles are also a product of poor design. They are flimsy and impractical as you hand falls out of them trying to open them.
The leather on the steering? Is it really leather as it feels like plastic.

This is a wonderful vehicle , BUTT, it is NOT a true "off-road" vehicle nor do I think they intended it to be. That being said , it has done wonderfully well for me in 6in snow, normal dirt roads that have turned to mud and the like.

Larger/wider cup holder in center console - water bottles for ice hockey practice/games do not fit - would be nice if the cup holder was expandable.

I’m kind of blown away by this.
My ‘02 Honda CR-V even has front hooks underneath. Are you just SOL in a Telly if you have no trailer hitch and get stuck in a snowbank?

No, you just call a tow truck, not your buddy that has the winch. The tow truck driver will figure it out.

I think my only real complaint after a few weeks of having mine is the remote start feature only being available via the UVO program and then the ridiculous price point to keep that service post the free period. That should be on the FOB or at least the remote start feature should be gratis via the app even if they want to have the other features via the subscription fee.

Otherwise, it's great and the best car I've ever had.

Your signature says you have a 2021, and the Nightfall pics you posted confirm that. If you have a 2021 Telluride, then remote start is on the key fob. It's the little button on the side of the fob. Though I don't know how to use it, as I have a 2020.

A little confused - your signature says ‘21. Doesn’t your key fob have remote start?

You're welcome. Yes, it's there. I think that there is some combination of keypresses you must do including the lock button to make it work - so read up on that. Someone discussed it in the forum at some point, but I can't remember. It must be in the 2021 Manual.

Another minor complaint. I wish I could roll down the windows by holding down the unlock button, like I could on my ancient Odyssey. I don't believe the app lets you control the windows either, which seems like a miss.

I don't mind plastic trim on some vehicles, but, for whatever reason, Kia's trim seem to fade much faster than other vehicles. If you look at Kia vehicles that are a few years old the black plastic trim is already fading. It is especially bad here in AZ with the hot sun and uv rays. It's one of the things keeping me from pulling trigger on a Kia. Once that trim starts to fade, the vehicle looks old and cheap.

I wonder if that trim could be painted (with the kind of paint they use on plastic front ends, for example)?

I miss that feature too. I had a 2010 Odyssey EX-L. Should be standard on all cars, and really, somebody at Kia could probably write the code for it in 30 minutes.

That does seem like a bit of a waste money. That said, decent normal interior lighting when you're getting in and out of the car and/or when someone is looking for something at night is a good thing. Ambient lighting? Meh..

Either not enough exposure time in that photo or you got a defective ambient light system in your car. Should be visible but not glaringly bright.
