  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Does changing an order reset your place in line?

My sales rep entered my order incorrectly (from January) and updated it today. Will that reset my place in Kia's queue or should it not matter?

From what I have read on here, if the order has not been picked up, it is basically just sitting on order purgatory. Some people say there is a "line" and have assigned numbers in said "line". I would reach out to the sakeperson, if the line exists, they should know. Personally, I just ordered last month, 2 days after my initial order i switched a few things and the order was resubmitted. My order was then incredibly picked up the next month so i have an extremely small wait time, which makes me feel like there is plenty if luck involved. But, who knows, maybe there is a line, a precise order queue and I am an outlier. I know some people have been waiting over 10 months. Im sure this didnt directly answer anything, but maybe it helps. If your order has not been picked up in KDealer yet, it can be modified without losing your place in the queue. However, from the many experiences of users on this forum, it is highly dependent upon the dealer. Many don’t know how (or are unwilling) to change existing orders. In this case, they will cancel your order and place a new order, sending you to the back of the line.
