• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hi everyone. I’m trying to see if I’m alone in this issue or if others have found a crafty solution. I am a lefty and usually drive with my left arm. I’m other cars I have rested my elbow on the door and had my hand around 9 o’clock.

I have the 2022 SX for a few weeks now and am having bad pain in my shoulder because of a lack of resting area for my elbow. If I place it where the window is, it’s too high. Where the door handle is, it’s too low. I’ve tried moving the steering wheel and seat in all possible combinations but can’t get a good fit. I’ve also tried aftermarket elbow cushions (e.g. Elbow Friend) but have not found something with a good fit that doesn’t block the ability to use the door handle.

I’m really at my whits end and hoping for a solution! Thanks.

I don’t really have any product recommendations, but just wanted to say your username made me laugh after reading this thread. 😂

Maybe hold the steering wheel from the side or bottom with your left hand instead of the top of the wheel?
