• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey everyone, been a long minute since we last talked. I walked away from the deals from the end of 2019. Recently I found out about the Nightfall model and my interest was peaked again. I went to my dealer to get the info, and today they got one in. I was instantly liking the color, both black on the outside and on the inside EXCEPT the top of the inside is still the ugly beige or tan color that makes it look/feel like a toyota corola or something. i DONT understand why the inside of this nightfall model, which is basically suppose to be all blacked out is NOT blacked out on the inside. Since November I went with another Sorento. White outside, all black inside (including the top) and it looks great, I am all about it.

So back to the Telluride Nightfall I saw today. 2021 TELLURIDE SX V6 AWD WITH Nightfall Edition Package. MSRP @ $47,475.

I am not going to get into the details of the deal. My concern is what I noticed on the top of the inside of the car, on the end of the fabric behind the rear view mirror. I dont know if its been posted here. I searched and did not find anything, maybe I searched wrong I am not sure...but...Telluride owners can you go check the inside of your car and tell me if the fabric that wraps over at the end of the padding, behind the rear view mirror is all jacked up please? Attached are photos of what I saw today. It looks like its cut by hand and someone is just shaking as they cut the fabric. You can see all of the cuts, and its fraying and looks poorly done. Like it is hanging there. The entire length of the fabric from the drive to passenger side looks horrible, and directly under the rear view mirror it looks worse. If your driving and looking @ the rear view it is clearly visible.

Check out the photos I took. You can see it. I checked another Telluride they had on the lot and it was the same thing. The fabric just looks jacked up right behind the rear view.

Are you guys noticing this on your model?

to note, I check my Sedona (2019) and the fabric is not looking like what I saw on the Telluride. I also checked my Sedona and no issues there.

Telluride has a terrible build quality, especially the headliner - it is nibbled🤣😂, not cut off. Sedona is many times better quality, produced in Korea. I changed the 2019 sedona sxl to telluride 2021 sx and for me the build quality of telluride drives me into depression.

so you see the issues on the headliner also by the rear mirror?

anyone else see the issues with the headliner mentioned above?

Not as bad as your picture but yes, same "hole" and "jagged edges.

in front of the mirror is normal, or rather tolerable.
Behind the mirror is just horror. And on the right side, behind the last glass like yours + there is still a hall. When it was installed, the edge was broken, it stuck out when I received the car.

did you ever get it fixed?

Holes appear to be normal. Probably to access the electronics for the camera. Aligned flush though when installed appropriately.

Mine looks great. Holes are normal - three big wires running through that area.

That’s crazy! Makes total since. Never occurred to me that it might be normal.
