Failed Install of Diode Dynamics HitchMount LED Pod on 2022 Telluride

Hi,

I thought the Diode Dynamics HitchMount LED Pod looked really cool so I bought one to install on my 2022 Telluride.

It comes with a 7-pin adapter so that you don't have to cut/solder/splice any wires. I assumed this 7-pin adapter would work on the Telluride, but I'm struggling to figure out how to get it connected.

I made two videos showing my two attempts to try and figure out how to disconnect the Telluride 7-pin port so I can insert the Diode Dynamics adapter. I failed in both attempts.

Thank you very much.

The socket in that guide looks very similar to the socket on the Telluride. I'll see if I can figure out how to connect the hitch light.

BTW, it's really hard to respond on the forum as every time I post I have to fiddle with my post to avoid the filter they have for unwanted email.
