Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I live in NYC and park on the street. Keeping a beautiful car looking good is a battle. NYC has virtually no hand car washes outside of higher end detailers. But don’t fear!! Between 201st street and 209th street and Ninth Avenue, there are many (probably more than a dozen) car washing crews working out of vans washing cars by hand. Got a great wash, inside and out, for $25. Showed MUCH more care than any automatic wash. FYI.
