Front Grill Emblem Border

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement front grill emblem holder? I messed up the black border around the grill emblem when I replaced the factory emblem with the upgraded emblem. I've been told that I have to replace the whole grill and that's not going to happen.

Maybe try sanding it down and polishing/buffing first? May be a cheaper option to replacing.

HAHA!! We didn't realize the emblem popped out from the back so we tried to pry it off which is why it has all those ridges.
