Just checked. It will not allow you to close the lid when the vehicle is lockedI hope it will let you close it when the driver's door is locked. I always lock my doors when filling up the car. That way nobody can slide in the off door undetected and steal anything.

Just checked. It will not allow you to close the lid when the vehicle is locked
There was a fuel lid open instruction sticker as well on dash/instrument panel glass (see pic attached)
