• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Gas Gauge

Well, my new 2023 Telluride fuel reading went to ZERO with no range estimate (--) on our first road trip 400 miles from home. We were only on our 2nd tank of gas. The tank indicated 1/2 full when we turned the car off then registered empty the next time we started up. The next day and several starts later, it started reading accurately again. Seems more like a software error than a sensor issue.

BTW I've only filled the car up 3 times, but it has consistently clicked off at the pump with a 1/2 gallon still left to fill. So, I have been letting it click off the first time, then go only one more click-off.
I usually gauge how much it should fill based on the gas gauge on the dash and 18 gallon tank size. So if you have half a tank, should be able to fill close to 9 gallons. If it clicks off as soon as you pump or way to early, it could be an oversensitive handle-off trigger. So if that happens I keep the handle sideways and it usually fills up properly before it triggers off accurately when the tank is actually full.
