If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Dealership just told me about a glacier white pearl they have due to arrive in November. Should this be on failcat? I don’t see that GWP has been added yet.

The vehicles show on failcat when they are assembled so no you would not expect to see a vehicle to be delivered in Nov there yet. Probably sometime in October.

No

I see. Is it odd they can give me exact specifics an ETA for a car not due in until november?

No, the dealer will have more info on vehicles due in prior to them being on Failcat. That site only picks up VINs when they've been built.

And expect that ETA to change numerous times before then. Emphasis on the 'E' in ETA!! Actual delivery date would firm up once the VIN is generated which should be within a month of delivery for most dealerships, sometimes within a couple weeks of delivery. GL

Yeah I’m taking it all with a grain of salt. Still better then ordering locally from the one dealer charging msrp and being number 30 or so in line

Crossing my fingers that the big run of Snow White Pearl the other day was the end of it. Hope to see some GWP on failcat tomorrow morning...🤞🤞

Haven't seen a SWP in 2 days, so hoping this is it. My GWP EX FWD has an ETA of 10/22 so I hope this dealer is wrong about November...

Looks like we're finally seeing some GWP's in failcat. Excited, that's what we ordered about 3 weeks ago.

I can finally look at failcat with some hope that my car could be on there.

I feel like this has been hashed out but are ALL Tellurides ordered in white going to be GWP or is it still Nightfall only? Kia's website still allows an interested customer to choose SWP in a base SX but when you add the nightfall it kicks you into GWP.

My understanding, and I am pretty confident, is that GWP will be the only white produced from here on out.

What is your order? Mine is a Nightfall, base SX (no P) and no tow. I think it is going to stand out when they make it because they haven't made a white SX NF without tow or prestige in over a month. I have butterscotch and they haven't made that combination with butterscotch since early July. This also worries me that I have such a rare combination...

You are correct. The switchover was not as close to the beginning of August as many had expected/hoped.

So is this Kia simply not being buttoned up across corporate/production/dealers in regards to the color availability? I asked my Sales guy (deposit down this month, not in KFOS) again this week and he said the order is in for SWP.

Maybe he just doesn't know. But I think when it comes time for KFOS, it will be switched to GWP. My order was SWP in Kdealer, but when it was time for KFOS, my dealer had to switch it to GWP.

Then he’s a dummy and can’t read the training documents/model and accessory code information.

SWP was stated on there to be “July 2020 end of production,” with GWP “August 2020 start of production.” Obviously the changeover was a few weeks late.

But if GWP has (finally) started, then SWP is done.

And I think I trust you more than my dealer. I just can't believe across the value chain Kia hasn't thought "maybe we should update our website and the 'BUILD' functionality to avoid confusion." I've heard some negative things about the Kia dealership network and this is our first potential Kia purchase...perhaps others aren't as surprised.
