  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Glad We Have not Purchased any Telluride Yet

I am in Colorado also.
Also looked at the Palisade in November, but needed those 3 cu feet in the Telluride, My wife has a mobiltiy skooter that did not fit in the Pallisase, but does in the Telluride.
I wanted the Palisade, mostly because we derive a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe now.

Ordered a sx-p/t from https://i25kia.com two week ago, and the had a call today that the eta is now April 4th. I was told likley would be 3 months.
Only needed to put down a $500 deposit, that is refundable if I don't want to buy or for any reason.
and they sell at MSRP.

I test drove a Palisade without my wife. She refused to even consider it as our next vehicle because of the styling. The same reason she chose the Kia Sportage SX over upgrading our Lexus RX Hybrid--some auto designers need to go back to design school and realize using 30% of the front of the vehicle as a gaping maw "grill" is not a great design choice.

Once I test drove the Palisade, I was very happy to return it to the dealer lot. The loud noise in the driver's seat sounded like I was literally in a wind tunnel. I told the sales associate that there seemed to be a problem with that particular model, an SEL Trim and I wouldn't consider buying that particular one. This is after me as the customer rolling up and down the window and trying to see if I could get the window trim to seal properly. A few days later I was looking at the Hyundai Palisade owners forums and discovering discovered this is a recurring QC issue. At that point we had test driven at least six or seven Tellurides and never experienced anything like that.

We were all set to place our order and wait for four months to get a Telluride when our dealer called us with "someone decided not to pick up their order." Not only did we pay just MSRP, we were grandfathered in on their allocation with the lower Prestige Package, Destination and sticker prices from before January 2. We consider ourselves blessed and fortunate to have our new SX-P Dune/Moss in the garage, and are thankful for Ferguson Kia our local dealer who only charges doc fee above sticker on everything, and has discounts for some trims of even the Telluride.
