Sorry for the slow reply. Not sure if you have to order floor mats - I wanted them so I included them in my order. Thanks for the info! I'm finally going to be getting my Telluride now that the fog light option is posted online. Still don't know if it's actually available since the two dealerships I've talked to told me they would give me MSRP if I placed an order, but have been very bad at responding. I'm going to get in contact with Berwyn Kia and hopefully I have similar luck. That's great that you were able to have your own financing with no problem. That's one of the things I wasn't sure about as well.
Just one question to be clear, they didn't add anything other than exactly what you ordered? I'm not even looking to order floor mats since I plan on buying weathertech from the factory store here in IL.
Sorry to hear that - that's really disappointingI'm guessing things changed because I just got in contact with Guillermo and he said they charge 10% over MSRP for a market adjustment with a $1,995 adjustment minimum for a build.
I’m in San Antonio too. World Car Kia are crooks. Ancira isn’t as bad ($5k markup), but I’d stay away from them too. When I asked if I could order they said “oh, Kia doesn’t allow orders”… then when I asked if they could see what was incoming, they said they have no clue. So full of shit. Austin is about $7k. I’ve heard people have had good luck with University Kia in Waco.I'm in San Antonio, TX and have had the same experience with the dealers near by telling me that KIA isn't taking orders and I just felt suspicious about it. I just got a quote from World Car South Kia They said $60,353 for a 2022 Telluride Nightfall. Do you know any other dealerships in the area that are doing MSRP?
YeppersIs this Van Griffith in Granbury?
Haha and maybe Beyonce is on her way. ;-)Congrats… you won the lottery! Be sure to post pics. And check out some of the great Italian places to eat in town. You’ll be glad you did!
As my sig shows, I just picked up my Telly last week. I can honestly say that this was by far the easiest vehicle purchase I've ever had. Maybe because I went in fully willing to pay MSRP, which before this, I would never do.Classic KIA in Waukegan, IL! Great experience. Went there after walking away from a bad experience from Schaumburg Bob Rohrman Kia and also a recommendation from this forum. Easy and transparent as it should be. Worked with John Plewka. Ordered ours today. So excited!

When I ordered, because of all the great members here, I knew exactly how I wanted the car optioned. The salesman I had (Pedro is a great guy) said it was rare for someone to have as much information and know how the ordering system worked. That's all thanks to all of you. When the order was accepted into KFOS, he texted me, and gave me a rough delivery date. After that, not much more he could do until it came in.
Once the car got to the dealer, he texted me again, and then asked the questions he'd be asking me if I had gone in to pick it up. So sitting at home, I was able to get all of the approval done for financing, saving a lot of time sitting at the dealership. He sent me back some preliminary paperwork to look at, and that gave me a weekend to look it over and figured out what I was going to do with my 2014 Sorento. I priced it out online at both Carmax and Carvana, and brought those printouts in with me.
On the day that I could finally pick it up, the bulk of the paperwork was already done. Went into the finance office and went through everything, and he did not try to force a single thing on me. He mentioned the things that dealers sell, gave me the pros and cons, and let me decide. If you are looking to trade in a vehicle, be sure to have those printouts for offers from other "buyers". That will really give you an edge. I also had printed the pamphlet from Muncie for the extended warranty, and he already knew all about it, and told me straight up that he couldn't match their price. I was fully willing to call them up in the next few days and buy it from them, but the finance guy wanted to make this sale, so he renegotiated the trade, and made it close enough to convince me to buy it from him, and save the hassle of making any more calls to get what I wanted. Very low key. No temperatures were raised........ No threats to walk out....... (all those from me usually) It was a very enjoyable sale, and that is why I am sharing my experience.
Due to all the information that has been shared on here, when I got home, I checked the pressure in my tires, and they were all at 49psi. I texted Pedro about it, and he said he'd pass the info on to the service manager. I had never heard of factories doing this before. I wonder if this is something new that is starting up in the industry.
Hearing good things about Classic from deposit to delivery makes me feel good and only more excited for our telly. No word yet on ours since I don’t think our order is actually ordered yet. Glad to see you finally got to pick up your Telly! So was I right about you loving the color combo or was I right! Lol.So in Utah, I just purchased from Jerry Seiner Kia in South Jordan. Great experience. I was very apprehensive, kept waiting for the markup or the BS package I had to purchase. Never happened.
James Templin was my sales person, he was great. Took my order, a few weeks later when I wanted to change the color, it was no problem. A few weeks after that I wanted to add a PIO option, Again it was no problem.
He kept me up-to-date on what my position in line, and understood the process.
The finance person asked about warranties and maintenance, I declined and he was fine with that. The only mark up I wouldn’t have purchased was the $299 security package. I asked it was optional, he said yes, but they had already installed it. Under the current market conditions, I can live with that!
I was in and out of the dealership on pick up day in about an hour, and that includes test driving to make sure I didn’t have any vibrations.
Order time to delivery was five months and five days, and that was for a SX prestige with dune interior. Probably the trickiest option package to get.
They seem to receive about 25 cars a month, he told me that the frequency of arrivals is going up, there are cranking out the 2022s pretty good.
Anyway, great experience.
When I ordered that is what my dealer gave me. It showed my name as a sold order. Exactly what I ordered, etc. Accepted into the system, not Kfos, but that it was ordered. How do you get the kdealer order sheet, just ask?
Probably a long shot but did you try Overturf Tri-Cities - 2 hours away from Spokane? I live in Eastern Washington and got my 22’ AWD SXP NF/T for MSPR + Taxes. It took 9.5 months and wasn’t initially ordered as a 21’. But nonetheless, I did get it. Service wasn’t horrible. I did have a disagreement but I’d look there I’d you haven’t already.I am in Spokane. In mid December I spent a lot of time researching and contacting dealers all over the West Coast, Southwest and Mid West. I found only two of them willing to take an order for MSRP. One wanted a $795 dealer document fee. White's Mountain Kia in Casper. WY only wanted $204 for the dealer doc fee. Placed my order with Taylor Thornton (cell is 307 267 3576) who is very honest, no salesman rhetoric and detail oriented so the order was correctly placed. Very happy with his follow up. Yes, Casper is a bit of a trip from Spokane, but, the thousands saved in markup over MSRP other dealers quoted me (including all in WA) more than make up for the distance. Besides, if I decide to have it shipped in closed transport it is still much less expensive than paying the ADM. Good luck in your search. Hope this information helps.
