However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Good Dealer Dealings - List Your Good Dealer Experience

Finally I ordered from 1-25 kia ... 4-6 moonths .. hoping to get sooner.
Good for you. Depending on where you fly in from (I'm assuming Cali because of hilltop) and have the time, it could be cheaper than shipping and you get to break it in.

They will actually ship it to me ... I dont have to fly in, everything can be done remotely, and btw shipping is not espensive... its 1400 for open truck and 1700 for closed truck,

The wait time was 2 months to get filled... + 90 days to arrive from Kia to dealer. so a total of 4-6 months

@bptimer and @ShucknTelly my guess is twofold. 1)he is inundated with orders since they are selling at MSRP and 2)he has caught on to the fact that some folks can not or may not be able to wait that amount of time and he knows he will have zero issues selling to someone else.

There should be an available Telluride by April at Lev (042 on failcat ) Wolf Gray, NF, if everything goes through with the other deal for me.

It’s a tough time to be bringing multiple deals to the table and using them as a bargaining chip and I’m sure dealers all across the country know that.

@E91fan, what trim and options did you order? I am looking to buy an SX Prestige with NF and towing. My preferred color is WF with black interior, so it may be pretty close to what you had ordered.

Just picked ours up at Ricart Kia in Columbus/Groveport. It was, overall, an excellent experience. I first contacted them by e-mail (among 20 others) on November 8 to inquire about a timetable for ordering one, was informed they don't place orders but the exact trim and color we were looking for was due in November 30 and not pre-sold, reserved it (they refused any deposit), it hit failcat November 11, then the ETA moved from 11/29 to 11/27 to 11/22 to arrival yesterday. MSRP + tax + $250 doc + $35 reg. The only warning I'd give about them is to be careful with the financing. We financed it in my wife's name since it will be hers to drive and were confident she'd qualify for the 1.9% on her own (credit score 800+). When we were handed off to the first financial guy to go over the terms, he simply handed us a table of loan amount vs. loan term and corresponding payments, and seemingly proudly pointed to our $390 payment after our down payment. I already knew the payment should be more like $340, and there was nothing on the paper about the interest rate. When I expressed my confusion and asked what rate that was at, he stumbled and said something like, "um, something in the single digits I know". Really? Single vs. double digits is the dividing line between good and bad? I countered that I was anticipating qualifying for the 1.9% with her credit score, but if we need to go in on the financing together to get the 1.9% I'm fine with having my credit run too. He immediately picked up the phone and said, paraphrasing (but not exaggerating), "Yeah, they want to go with the 1.9% special rate for 60 months. OK. Thanks." Click. And that was that. They actually made us ASK for the 1.9%, and when we got home I plugged their proposed payment into my spreadsheet and quickly discovered that they were trying to get us to sign off on 7.5% (an extra $3,000 over the life of the loan). That left a bad taste in my mouth, but after, literally, 3 minutes with that guy, he handed us off to another woman who took us in her office and went over all the paperwork. She didn't try to sell us on anything extra, actually having pre-declined all the extended/auxiliary warranties on the iPad, but pointed out that she had to offer them to us before pointing where to sign. After a brief drive around their CAMPUS (the place is huge) and 20 minutes or so being shown the most important features of the car, we were on our way. I'd definitely recommend them to anybody who can get matched to a suitable incoming vehicle and is local enough and flexible enough to pick it up quickly (they don't allow it to be shipped, and they want you to pick it up within 24 hours, though they've made exceptions). Just be careful with the financing.

Got my place in line for a '22 SX P on 5/28 at Cochran Kia outside of Pittsburgh. I came in knowing what I wanted and the salesperson just punched in all my preferences and sent me a text and email confirming my choices. I was told I would be contacted every two weeks (not sure how much they can really tell me very early on) and that the wait was 6 - 8 months as of right now. They charge MSRP and give you the out-the-door price, no games. Cochran also does not require any deposit. They just scan your ID to hold your place in line. I definitely recommend Cochran Kia if you are looking for MSRP and a quick and easy ordering process in the Pittsburgh area.
Hi how did this sale go for you? Did it take 6-8 months?? Any hidden mark ups?? Also looking in Pittsburgh area and having a hard time finding MSRP. Thanks.

I25 Kia (or any Denver area folks), are you currently finding a markup?

I am about to pick my search back up.

Also check out Arapahoe Kia, Denver area.

I25 Kia in (Longmont) Denver. Ask for Dimitru--he's very honest, works hard and is excellent at what he does. Call his cell phone at 303-502-9944 or send him a text. They will have a new name in the future and will be called FOWLER, but it will be the same people and same processes. I ordered a Telluride SX Prestige at the end of June in 2022 and picked it up last Wed (Nov 17th). I live in San Diego and flew up and drove it home. The autopilot cruise control is great for these long trips and it's an amazing vehicle. The whole experience was painless and I'd buy from them/Dimitru again in a heartbeat.

Great looking car, congratulations! Did you have any problems getting your deposit back from Lev?
Haven’t tried yet. I will post of there is an issue. But they did state that the deposit was refundable. I’m not too concerned about them stuffing me for 500 dollars. That would then create a lot of bad press for them.

I'm still early in the process, but I can confirm that as of October of 2021, both Cochran Kia and C Harper Kia are still selling Tellurides at MSRP in the Pittsburgh area. I contacted many other dealerships in the Pittsburgh area, and every other one adds in market adjustments from between $2,500.00 and $10,000.00.

Cochran an C Harper both state that there are no market adjustments or added costs. Cochran does not require a deposit, and C Harper requires a deposit of $500.00, but it is refundable for any reason. Both are providing estimates of 4 to 6 months from the time of order, but I have a feeling from reading these forums that the delivery times are increasing.

I ordered my Telluride SX at C Harper in mid-October, but it was unfortunately not picked up by KFOS in November. A co-worker ordered a Telluride at Cochran sometime in September, and his has yet to be picked up by KFOS.

Nice ride!!
Just wondering how do you like the rear entertainment units?
Thank you! Haven’t really played with them yet but for once when I was waiting for one of my kids (20 min). I connected via hotspot and was able to get online then my daughter came back in the car but couldn’t hear sound because no headphones were connected. Once dialed in, hoping it will be a great feature for road trips.

I will update this thread if and when I find anything good/bad/worth noting!

Just got my Telluride delivered today! Wanted to thank Carlos Rubio @crubio of i25 for making sure everything went smooth and without an issue. Great communication and I never imagined could buy a new ride with one phone call, a few emails/text and one zoom call. Details of my transaction are in signature block.

Btw he even shot a video of my ride yesterday just before it got loaded up!
