• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Good sun shade?

I’m impressed by any man who appears to be a dog person (from your handle) and also has white interior. That is a new level of bravery.

I haven’t bought one for the Telluride yet, but I had a Covercraft shade for my last car (Acura MDX). Lasted eight years and worked great, summer and winter. Perfect fit and easy to fold up and keep on the floor in the back. I’ll probably buy a Covercraft shade for the Telluride.

So I ended up going with this one….

Pros:
- thick material (normally this style is really thin and flimsy but I am surprised at the quality here),

- fits nice and snug in windshield because it’s custom cut for the telluride.

- best of all, it folds up easy and stores under the drivers seat so it is 100% unobtrusive and my wife actually uses it.

Cons:

- it smells like the devil farted on it out of the package. A few wipe downs with household cleaner and an overnight airing out on the patio and it’s all good.

I had a Covercraft shade on my previous cars and just bought one for my new Telly. I like that it folds up flat and find it easier to store (albeit slightly) than the kind that rolls up.

Window shades and what next, The CLUB steering wheel lock? The 80's are calling and want your Telluride :p

This shade deserves accolades, if only for the marvelous claims about itself that it makes in the Amazon product description:
  • "better reflective refraction" -- LOL. A whole new category in optics.
  • "can block a lot of sunlight, reject the harmful UV Rays, and sun glare to protect your family's skin & eyes" -- Yes, it's the perfect screen to have in place while driving with the family!
  • "you can enjoy some intimate time with your lover in your car without worrying about being peeped" -- Just don't leave the moonroof open.
  • "block the fallen leaves in autumn" -- Tired of constantly raking inside your Telluride? At last there's a solution!

Living in Florida, I know how difficult it is to deal with the scorching sun. It's essential to protect our car from harsh UV rays. That's why I ordered my sun visors, which are designed to fit over the car, so I don't have to worry about any annoying gaps. You might be interested in visiting

Hey there! As a fellow Floridian, I totally get what you mean about the sun being a total menace to our cars. I'm glad you're on the hunt for a good windshield sunshade - it's definitely a must-have for those scorching hot days.

Sorry for the late reply, but I feel your pain about the sun! It's brutal down here, ain't it? I totally get what you mean about needing a good sun shade. I've been through a bunch of them, and most of them end up being a pain to deal with.

I'll offer another windshield solar shade to consider. I stopped in O'Rielly's and they had a Shade for pickup trucks from Dickies for less than $30. It fit better than I have been able to find and is foldable with a snap closure.
