But it’s home now and the whole family is obsessed! We’re upgrading from a Mini so it feels like a jumbo jet. So comfortable and roomy.

Here’s a few pics. I think the combo looks great and feels natural (I’m biased bc my last car had a similar look). Black feels simple and classic to me, and the lighter headliner balances it well (see the angle from the trunk).

Excellent thank you. My only quibble at this point with the combo is the relatively bright rear bumper plastic. I wonder if I can get just that bit from the night fall package later . This is a great car, and now I’m feeling solid about the gray / black look. Enjoy! And thank you for the extra pics.

Same boat here: my current car is black on black with light headliner. I’m thinking about changing it up with Grey seats on the Telly (feels so much more airy), but am on the fence given my two kids under 4...

There’s actually 2 Britaxes in there - one on each side! The kids are loving the new ride.

First hiccup... a little plastic piece on the trunk gate is loose and doesn’t stay clipped in. Such a bummer. Gonna have to go get it looked at by service.

Wow good eye - I hadn’t even realized that when I took that picture or even posted it and wasn’t sure when it happened. I didn’t see it till this morning when I was gazing out of my house at it and thought the space between body and part seemed odd.

Looks like you skipped on the Prestige package. I'm curious why since you are nearly there with an SX AWD. We have the same color with the prestige package and tow. I couldn't do without the HUD and Napa leather seats. Man - I just love this color combination. I have yet to see one in person. These are some of the best pictures to date of this color combo. Thanks for sharing.

A handful of reasons...

I didn’t order. I contemplated it but after reading all the horror stories here I was really hesitant to do it. Have plenty of other life things to sort out this year and I didn’t want this to be a complicated thing.

I knew I wanted the SX, and my wife wanted a specific color. A dealer I talked to on a whim had an incoming unit that was a match, had no markup, and no laundry list of accessories I didn’t want, so I snagged it. Deposit mid July, delivery early August.

I have small kids and anticipate them being wildly messy. I did not want to have leather anxiety (more than I already do).

Don’t get me wrong, there was certainly some temptation to swing for Prestige, and if this happened to have been an SXP I would have taken it. But timing, color, and ease of transaction mattered much more to me than the nice-to-haves of Prestige so it was an easy trade off to make.

Little hiccup is actually a big hiccup. The clips aren’t the problem... it’s the... entire... rear... glass!

The whole piece of glass was put on slightly askew somehow, and it’s just misaligned enough that that left piece of trim won’t hold in place. You can kind of see the issue in the gap on the bottom edge of the glass in the pic I shared. The fix apparently is to have the whole glass replaced. Hopefully within a week but we’ll see...

Service department has been great but man is this an ominous start. May have to spring for the extended warranty.

They'll get you back up and running soon enough. Bummer for sure but id take cosmetic issues any day over mechanical or electric
