The dealership called yesterday and asked for a big favor. They asked if I could bring in our Black Copper SXP because some potential customers wanted to see one. I said yes because I wanted them to take a look at the paint protection film we had added as it was applied poorly. (My wife and I had talked about going to the dealership for this issue earlier in the day)
As we pulled up they asked to park in front of the front door as a salesman and his customer came out. They asked a few questions of me before going into the dealership.
After a while they asked me more questions and I offered them a ride. I wasn’t allowing them to drive my vehicle but they could get a good feel for how it went through the paces. This happened for another customer who also came in while we were there. I know both customers will be a Telluride owner after their ride/talk.
Question: what is this worth? While they will be fixing the issue and doing an oil change, I’m thinking we should get a kickback like the $50 customer referral that they give out.
Thoughts?
