• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I know that running a dual exhaust system or should I say with 2 mufflers or however it's supposed to be done isn't going to add any extra stuff other than sound I just like how it looks on vehicles that actually have that option

Don't quote me on this but, I recall a post from a long time ago where someone did that but had to eliminate the spare to make it happen. It's going to take some searching to find it......

Edit - look at their posts @KIAFT

I would hate to eliminate the sparrow but it would be nice for Kia to figure something out like this definitely the dual exhaust ports look nice compared to a single.

If you don’t live in cold climates where you would visibly see the exhaust gas in the winter, you could technically fit just the exhaust tips and not physically connect them to anything. So they would be non-functional for looks, and you can still keep the sparrow tire. 😂

IIRC when i was down there installing the curt hitch there is enough room to run dual exhaust. You would have 2 options

1. Run 1 muffler for both exhaust tips on passenger side and just pipe it over to the driver side.

2. you would have to get 2x smaller mufflers and would have to remove the cover panel on the driver side for clearance and install hanging hardware for the muffler on driver side. (this will only work if no tow hitch is installed. The cover panel is where the hitch plugs into the factory harness. The muffler shop quoted me and said it could happen but would be super pricey because of all the bends and tubing required and the cost of the muffler, but could be done. Since then i have installed the hitch and will be just going with a simple borla or tork motorsports axle back.

it can be done the only real question is how much money you want to throw at it and what are you willing to sacrifice for that look.

I could put an AMG badge on there too if I went that route 🤣
