Stinger does the same..best fix is to turn the ASG off

Good to know it’s not just my vehicle lol. I don’t particularly mind that the LEDs flash off and on very quickly, do you think it’ll cause any issues down the line like affect the life of the LEDs? My best guess would be that it does the same thing with the incandescent bulbs, but since those aren’t instant on/off like an LED, it’s just not noticeable.

No, there's no filaments anymore...LED's aren't effected by being turned on and off like incandescents are.

So my Sealight LEDs are working great, however has anyone else had this issue, or can you try and see if you notice it next time you drive at night...? You all know how at red lights, the Telluride engine shuts off? Well, when the light turns green to go, and the engine starts back up, for a VERY split second, my lights flash off and then back on. It’s seriously like a millisecond. Anyone have this experience?

This normal, from what I understand. I also have Sealight LEDs and they do the exact same thing when starting back up from auto-stop-start. Just the nature of the engine starting, using more electricity for that split second, etc. It's probably more noticeable since the LEDs are instant on/off. I'd guess the halogen bulbs do it too, but you just can't notice the split second fluctuation.

Zdatts is a good light its just not bring but i can see its more wider and doesnt have any dark spots

Before we took delivery this month I followed the LED headlight talk pretty closely. The pics people posted were esp. helpful.
Since the Zdatts didn't appear to have dark spots, and full field illumination looked good, I bought a pair when they went on a lightning deal for $24. I knew that downfield throw was probably not the best but went ahead and bought them anyway.

After installing them tonight, it turns out that all of the above is the case. I got just what I thought I'd be getting. First I evaluated the stock halogens and found them to be... not bad at all. The forward throw was good and the spread of light was also good. I liked them, but I want the headlights to match the bright white LED DRLS. And now they do.

The upper cut off for the Zdatts is, not surprisingly, exactly as the stock halogens. The near field illumination is as good or better than stock. It's only the forward throw that wants by comparison but I can live with that for most of the year. I might change back to stock for winter though b/c I'm thinking that the Zdatts will not cut through a medium to heavy snow effectively enough.

The only other surprise is how hot the ballast on the Zdatts got while only being evaluated (on a coolish night) for 10 minutes at most as it hung outside the rear of the assembly (rear cap off for testing). A few more minutes after turning off the car I went to pack it inside the assembly and found out how hot it got. I made sure to tuck it down and away from the heatsink but I'm still somewhat worried that something is going to overheat in there. Time will tell, i guess.

try visiting this website. www.headlightrevolution.com this guy breaks down almost every led bulb on the market in both reflector and projector headlights. you get to see which bulb will work best before you buy and how many lumens its really putting out down range. so far the three best are the v4 supernovas, putco nitro lux, and the gtr 3rd generation. probably gonna get the putco nitro lux since the heat shield is really low profile and won't require and modifications to the headlight.

I recently installed sea light 12000 lumens led bulb. I installed both and only one worked. I did reach out to sea light and they sent another box. Unfortunately both bulbs didn’t work but the one from the original box still did. I will be returning these. Has anyone else had any problems like this? Or is it just me?

I got these as well. Had no issues. They work great and look great. Sorry to hear you got unlucky! From what I've heard, their customer service is quite good.

Did you try plugging it in with the plug facing the other way to reverse the polarity? Some lights doesn't matter, some do.

Just installed my led headlights but I don’t think I have them set correctly. I did follow the instructions to set them just how you’re supposed to. The pattern just looks funky to me. I didn’t take the best pics because of limited space but here’s low beam n high beam.

Call the shop at +19049559844 and talk to Chelsea. I specifically asked if they could ship to memeber and they said they would. The bulbs they use are custom manufactured for their shop. The ones I got were 6000k and are bright as hell.

Anyway, I leased an LX black on black. Upgraded headlights to the sealights LEDs in first post and led rear plate lights. The factory lights are brighter but I like the 6000k look alot better.

I so far have not seen a upgrade that has not produce excessive glare. You guys should not do the upgrade if you are just going to blind people on the road.
